This ongoing scenario is hands down the most interesting Ben and Lauren have ever been, and probably ever will be (to me at least) IMO.

I'm no Lauren fan, but when it comes to Ben and the season, she repeatedly has gotten the short end of the stick. It's been one thing after the other for her when it comes to this relationship. I'm surprised she's stayed this long. I would have been out real quick. JMO

To be fair, I think his mom was crying because the producers were making her pick one and she knew it'd be hurtful to the other. I wish she'd just went with her gut instinct and refused to answer, since she obviously regretted it later. Someone must've made quite the scene to get that clip deleted from Twitter and the episode.

I also think a JoJo is what Ben needs, but a Ben is definitely not what JoJo needs, so it's lucky for her that he was so infatuated with Lauren since day one. There was nothing getting in between Ben and his shiny trophy, substance be damned.

If they are waiting to announce a split, then I think it's because of the twins' show. They're making multiple appearances and are probably the most high profile guests on that show, so no way are TPTB going to simply edit them out. Half of HEA was about trotting out other Bachelor contestants and I'm sure this show will be no different. They aren't getting out of it at this point. JMO.

I could not believe that shortly after their engagement Lauren went to Warsaw for a week. Thank goodness her parents came to visit. No girl should ever be asked to spend an entire week in the same house as her future MIL - especially if that mother only has one precious boy. My MIL had 3 kids and I grew to appreciate her over the years, but Lauren did not even really know Ben's mom yet. And his loud mouth dad is another story. I'm sure nice people if you are not the one engaged to their son.

I'm sure it can be both. During filming, Ben's mom preferred JoJo. Over that half day meeting, or however long they film. And to be fair, Lauren's MTP went well too. MH just liked JoJo more. That doesn't mean she didn't like Lauren. 

Post filming, Ben's folks seemed to hop on the Lauren train fast. So during sleuthing, they knew the ending. They were happy for Ben and Lauren. At the time, Ben and Lauren were happy. 

Lauren spent a TON of time with Ben's parents long before Christmas (where she also spent time with them - around, not on the holiday).. Like seriously, girl put in some HARD TIME with the in laws. She even went to like church groups and bible studies 1:1 alone with Mama Higgins.

IDK. What happens during filming may not be the same feeling wise as what happens 18 months later?
I know there are lots of family who love each other initially and end up killing each other. Seriously.

When Ben reaches Nick age then that is when he will be mature enough to know what is good for him. IMHOAA.

I can think of several couples that do this regularly. I don't think it's that odd imo.

The best part of this is that it's clearly not cut up by editing, we see her saying full sentences, those were the words coming out of her mouth. There might be other information I'm not aware of to the contrary but I think I'm gonna take her word for it.
