If I were these couples it would pain me to send him a thank you card .

Really? IME, all people enjoy being right and this is just another facet of that IMO. You knew something ahead of time, were right all along, etc. I'm surprised this is just a phenomenon that I'm around all the time for whatever reason? Kinda interesting.Kashathediva wrote:GuardianAngel wrote:I'm sure not getting a gift from Blogger Boy would be devastating for any couple.
How about giving the money to charity if a couple splits, instead of trashing them and saying I tolda so.
That would be a wonderful gesture.
I don't understand the personal satisfaction anyone gets from a couple's break up. He certainly is not going to be dating one the exes. It does not effect his life in any way, so why wish ill? I don't understand.

Right about what, though? The odds are most of these couples don't make it. So being right about something that is pretty standard is a weak, "I told you so."
I bet it will be cold tomorrow. Well, yeah it's February in New Jersey, so it's doubtful people will be tanning at the Jersey Shore. But heck I am right so I am right.

It is just human nature though IMO. Right or wrong. Either way I totally get it and am not at all surprised when people feel "personal satisfaction" in these situations. Different strokes for different folks Oh and about the cold example, this is different because there is no bone of contention there, whereas here, there are usually plenty of folks on either side. So apples and oranges IMO.Kashathediva wrote:Right about what, though? The odds are most of these couples don't make it. My human nature is I would rather be happy than right. Just me.
Again, the majority of these couples do not stay together. So making a stand on this issue, IMO, is weak and I'm not referring to members on this forum discussing this, I am referring to RS saying "I told you so". What did he tell us? That it's going to be cold in February and won't be good sunbathing at the Jersey Shore.

I hope they don’t. They should send it back IMO, or even better, pass it on to the next bach couple who are still under fire from RS.bleuberry wrote:If I were these couples it would pain me to send him a thank you card .

I get what you mean. I sure felt some personal satisfaction when Chris and Whit broke up, simply because I always thought that relationship was a sham and there was zero chance of them working out. However, when it comes to Ben and Lauren, I think they did genuinely think at one point that they were meant for each other and would live happily ever after. That's why I don't really see them possibly breaking up as anyone being proven right, it's just life. Relationships start and end all the time despite people's good intentions. And RS is definitely the last person who can say "I told you so", since he didn't even consider anything being wrong with them before people pointed it out to him a couple of weeks ago. JMO.

Well regardless of why they're together, they're with the twins today. They continue to show just how much they've learned by being on reality tv endlessly IMO. I'm sure they're "contracted" (according to them), uh huh O(nly)IMO.

Listening to RS's first podcast where he goes on and on, and on and on about his "journalistic beginnings" is just ridiculous. The man is so full of himself and has an over inflated perception of his own self importance. Like he really thinks what he does in this world is so awesome and cool. Like dude. You spoil The Bachelor. One reality show. It's not even like he is also spoiling Survivor or Amazing Race or multiple reality shows. Nope. Just the one. You aren't getting classified FBI/CIA leaks here. You run realitysteve.com. Not Wikileaks. Chill your butt and maybe dial back your own self importance about ten notches or so. You aren't that important; what you do during your day to day isn't that important.
I don't get feeling satisfied when a couple breaks up either. Typically sometimes I enjoy the train wreck a little bit (if it's a train wreck break up), but even then if I'm meh on the couple, I don't really care one way or another. I'm not sure why he gets such satisfaction other than misery loves company. And I think he's a mean spirited person.

Lauren is so happy today on her snapchat . Can't blame her she is with the twins and in LA and of course ben is being smiley and happy once again too . Jmo. They are in LA filming with the twins new show for sure .
"challenges are what makes life interesting, overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.real love is when you are completely committed to someone even when they are being completely unlovable.a strong marriage requires two people who chose to love each other even on those days when they struggle to like each other.a great marriage doesn't happen when the perfect couple gets together. It happens when an imperfect couple gets together and learn to enjoy each other's differences."

Ben has never looked happier in the snap of him driving that car IMO

Maybe they should consider moving? I know Denver is their homebase but maybe they are growing out of it and want to be where there's more warm weather year round? I couldn't blame them if so
