Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #3

I feel so sorry for Vanessa. TPTB are chopping her edit and only showing the serious side and not the loving, fun, goofy bits. The N & V story is clearly not a priority in the edit either. I hope Vanessa is not getting thrown under the bus. I have watched her on SM and she is a delightful person IMO.

I don't know. Like I kind of thought the same as you at first, announcing Rachel so soon kind of diminishes Nick and Vanessa's engagement. But then I re-evaluated. Nick and Vanessa won't be publicly engaged for another month still. By then, Rachel being the Ette is kinda old news. I think she would have overshadowed them more if they had waited to announce ala JoJo at Ben's ATFR.

The way I look at it, is they won't show a love story. They seldom do or we can just tell. Sleuthers can read body language and dissect what they give us, speculate and conclude. Opinions vary and we can all enjoy reading different opinions. They have given us very little this season as far as a love story IMO. Take away Corrine, what have they got? A love story, which they can't show IMHO. Taylor caused some drama, they are throwing in Andi's visit and whatever else sticks for the ratings.

I think Nick and Vanessa are together and happy. It appears to me, they are trying very hard to keep the F1/F2 a mystery and I suspect more so now that the 'ette has been announced. Will Corrine be the F1, after all Vienna and Courtney were. I suspect we will see much more of Nick and Raven, and a lot of doubt between Vanessa / Nick, there's always an obstacle to lead viewers in another direction other than an obvious F1.

I think during the ATFR we will see the real couple as we usually do, further dissecting body language and speculate on the validity of their relationship. It's all good in my books!

I was really looking forward to V and N's date, especially since they hid her the last few episodes.  But I gotta say IMO,  the edit for them seems so tense and serious all the time. Like where's all the fun, light hearted, giddy for each other moments? I'm sure they do, its just not shown. I liked their conversation on the boat, how she opened up about her fears, and how nick doesn't question with her because he feels like he knows who she is. Makes me feel like there was lot of stuff that we missed out on. And for her to say she's already falling in love with him? I felt as a viewer that we didn't get to see the full picture... and then that speech at the end of the night that he gave, I really like Vanessa, but I felt like it was almost hard for me to grasp why she was so upset. It's probably because we didn't get to see the things he reassured her about that has made her felt so confident. It just seems like there's a huge chunk missing, and as much I love them together, it's kind of hard to be invested in them as a couple with the way the edit is. How is there going to be this believable romantic  proposal in the end if it seems like we're barely seeing their relationship?  Can't wait to hear their side of the story once this is all over.

I have looked everywhere for that pic of Nick getting back into the states after FRC where he was spotted at the airport. I can't find it. I'm not looking for the pic just the date in which he arrived home. Anyone know off the top of their head? FRC was on 11/18 according to MF tweets. In other words, how many days did Nick spend with Vanessa before returning home?

Imo shows she indeed was there having a goodbye to DM. Wonder if she's fighting back on sm. I wd love if she did.  In fact i wd love if both her & Nick released the true story on their own terms. Blog or book or interview. Anything really that gives us poor viewers a clue. Tptb have failed the viewers so bad this time.

It's not news as it came out when RS released her bio.
She had 1 epi parts in 3 tv series (1 line in a show; a stewardess in another; a human host for vampires  in a third - her biggest role) plus she hosted 2 shows - online video game reviewer for less than a season; 1 season as cohost for a reality tv show for high school garage bands.

I know the Afterbuzz - late to the party again. The info about V having acting roles was available on here ages ago & is also in the public domain. Seems rather cruel some sm are out to get her by bringing that up now. Chances are she has been open on camera about it too but tptb didnt air it - just like they didnt air any conversations about her family since date 1.
Also interesting to hear Ashley I suggest it was casting reasons why they announced Rachel early. As usual didnt agree with much they said- Chelsea annoys me. Anyway off topic.
Its been a tough sm week for Vanessa & I cant wait to hear her side asap & ATFR. I hope Nessa both give us at least some of the true story.

I feel like Nick is keeping Daniel M for Vanesa's sake...it could also be possible he is keeping her because they are from the same hometown, if I am not mistaken...but, I don't believe Vanessa is using this show as her platform to become known as an actress....regardless, I think it would be great and interesting topics for them to explore and connect all the time...I am not seeing Nick as an actor as yet, but Vanessa seems to be good at that...Vanessa may not be serious about acting...I tend to see more students working as extras for fun--that's basically my approach on her for me...I think she is more focus on accomplishing something educational wise...looking forward to using her platform to help others (Public Affairs and Special Ed)...I feel that the show will be exploring Nick's regret on his lack of attention for Vanessa, thus him crying and unsettled at the end of the show...

On second thought, I think Nick is trying to be careful in his conclusions...stating that he needs to know Vanessa more to finally tell her he loves her which also makes a lot of sense...I actually find Rachel's dates with Nick quite normal nothing extraordinary...his dates with Vanessa have more thrills and excitements of which I think they seem more like his ideal dates with the girl of his dreams...

What if Vanessa doesn't include her parents (not sure if she has a dad)  in her HTD and that's why the edit never showed her talking to Nick about her family.

He talks about the dates coming up in his blog but he doesn't offer a great deal of clues. I can only figure out the comments regarding one's X. I attached that to Raven but that's about it. I can see us getting previews of that discussion specifically with Raven's dad.
