Another episode with no Nick and Vanessa moments. It's really annoying that their relationship is being hidden but I'm glad that starting with the next episode we should at least get to see some interaction with them every single week. I'm bored of these other storylines. Just give me Nick and Vanessa!

I am shocked that this week's whole story arc between N&V was completely removed from the edit!! I also assume if what RS spoiled of V telling Nick Danielle L is fake to be true that was not shown either. They seem to be either removing V's role or protecting V's edit and I wonder why...very curious move since they haven't done that with F1's to this extent before. maybe Nick's 'in' with the show helps him and his F1!

I found Vanessa's quirky behavior of what little we saw of it fun and interesting as a "getting to know Vanessa" factoid - with the "this or that" game Nick getting everyone to play, Vanessa was yelling her answers in order to speak over the other girls laugh out loud

was she drinking that much that early or is she a tad over-the-top in general?... It's a silly moment and I found Nick's reaction funny -- he was taken aback and said "ohh my God! Someone likes their sweets" LOL
I def don't think she's anyone's wallflower laugh out loud

Look at that! I just neatly planned out their life for the next 4 months I charge $35 dollars an hr/20hr work week plus an hourly macchiato (independent cafe purchase only) plus 1 week off per month with air/hotel to a major city of my choosing.

We don't do a 'tenure' here as it tends to be called something different. Most teachers are hired as full-time which would make you a salaried teacher with benefits. You would only get a few sick days per year... You are hired by the school board so can be moved to various schools in one area as needed. Also you can be hired as an LTO or long term occasional teacher. Maybe replacing someone who is on their one year maternity leave or sick leave. if she graduated in Ottawa, maybe her info is up on the OTC website? It is also possible, since she is working with adults and not youth, that her schedule is completely different and flexible.
School is out here at the end of June and we go back in early September. (Not it August, like I believe some American schools...) even if she had and gave up a permanent position she could work as a daily short-term supply for money until they make permanent plans.

Just adding- Vanessa's info is up on the OCT website. I never bothered to check as I assumed she is registered in Quebec.

Since she graduated in Ottawa, looks like she has both. She is registered to teach Primary /Junior here in Ontario.

I don't think she was necessarily yelling to "speak over the girls". I think that's just her personality. Very outspoken, not shy, doesn't care to make fun of herself. We saw that during the first group date. Everyone was coming down the stairs wearing wedding dresses and Vanessa was the only one dancing. I don't think she does things intentionally. Even on the volleyball date after she threw the ball wrong she would make an ugly face.

I don't believe blogger boy anymore. These women look too chill everytime they have to sit together. If there were so much animosity the tension would show right there too and it hasn't. Whatever was said about Danielle the whole house felt the same way and not just Vanessa(RS made it seem). We saw Whitney throw Danielle under the bus and she's close friends with the other women in the house. Blogger boy to me clearly has gotten all his info from someone that doesn't like Vanessa.

I think the shouting the answers tiny bit we got to see might have been her sense of humour as a teacher - where in class the teachers pet or keen student yells the answrrs first. Just what came to mind. If only they showed tbe full footage we might know more eh! Annoying they very obviously cut V & N scenes - one second of her crying and about to talk to each other at end of group date. Who knows what was said.

Well since we didn't have much to go on last night, I'll focus on the shallow first - loved her bathing suit and man she looked stunning for the night portion. I was bitter we didn't see more of her and Nick's time just because I wanted to see more of her in that outfit.

That said, I mentioned this in the episode discussion but as frustrating as it is to have so much of their time edited, I actually enjoyed the glimpse of them because it reconfirmed that the intimacy is still there in my opinion. As I said, what I always found interesting with those two is how physically comfortable and intimate they were with each other so quickly.

We saw how Nick just could not stop touching her during their 1 on 1, even when she was puking into a paper bag and even while she was confronting him about Corinne they were completely intertwined with each other, same on the farm group date and yesterday as well. No matter what's going on, even if Vanessa's angry at him for his behavior or emotional over the stress of the whole situation, they are always physically wrapped into each other.

Yellow bracelet: I think that they (V&N) discussed (not sure when) either on their 1-1 or maybe during the pool party, that so long as he wears it, she should be assured where his mind (hopefully heart) is at. - I think this is one of the reasons he does not have to reassure her with group date roses.

Was he wearing it when he surprised the ladies in the room? Could it be one of sources of doubt asking, "Wait, he doesn't wear it on his 1-1 dates?"

Just me having a hard time working this morning so I'm here instead pondering and expressing my thoughts.

Pictures from the episode , they really edited a lot of things out. Like clearly there was a competition but they didn't wanna show us how the losing team would have to go home. But when rachel got mad and said competition to nick then you know they cut that part of the date out or Vanessa wouldn't of been so mad.

Also look how he's wearing the yellow Braclet from the zero gravity date on his dates

I never thought about the fact that he wasn't wearing the yellow bracelet when he came to the women with his doubts and tears after he let Danielle go home. That must have caused doubt in Vanessa's mind if she was used to seeing it every time she saw Nick.

I think that Nick wore the yellow bracelet every time he expected to see Vanessa as a reassurance to her that he was thinking about her. He wore it on all their dates so far. He only wore it on one 1:1 with Kristina. But I think he did that because he picked Kristina up in front of all the women and he wanted Vanessa to know that he was thinking about her when she saw him, even if only for a moment. It's not like he had time to get rid of it after licking Kristina up for the date as they flew out of there on the sea plane.
