This was my least fave episode so far. No Nessa The predictability on this show is too obvious that it's getting quite boring. Why do they keep hiding Vanessa and Nick's time together? Ben/Lauren always had their segments aired last season on every group date. Is it that obvious how Nick treats Vanessa compared to the others that they want to hide it?

Maybe he didn't want to put a target on her back since he himself knows she's the ONE. Kind of like hiding his connection with her from the other girls.

This only makes it more obvious to me that she's F1. I do enjoy the speculation of who does the lead choose at the end. Unfortunately, tptb don't care about mystery. They stick with formulas imo. No thinking required.

This is my opinion based on what the producers have said about the show: It's a dating  experiment.
It's not all about the couple or even the lead and the last 2 or 3 girls until it gets to the last 2-3 girls.
Sometimes the focus will be on the dynamics of the cast vs lead if that thread is important to the story.
So IMO, it's about the entire journey each "week". That week is going to focus on the storyboard that week. If they show a smidge of the end point, they are throwing a bone to the audience is MO.

Awww! This makes me think she was excited to see her time shown with her and Nick and that something special may have happened this episode between them and it didn't air! Darn those editors. Still, even if they try to hide it, Nick can't hide that he's totally smitten with Vanessa and that he looks completely checked out on anyone that is not Vanessa, IMO. It actually warms my heart that Nick is this way because to me it shows me what is real versus the show and going through the motions. Hopefully we will get to see some more moments between N and V soon

IMO he does not have to give her a group date rose. He knows and she knows IMO that a rose is a given. In the storyline it does better IMO to give it to someone else.

It was a little surprising that they basically ignored Nick and Vanessa entirely this episode but look how they treated Rachel up until this episode and that was despite her getting the FIR and a group date rose. And in my opinion, Nick and Rachel's 1 on 1 got short-changed in favor of more of the Corinne drama that's been eating the season so far.

It's possible that after the drama at the pool party because of Nick's behavior with Corinne, something was said or done by Nick to Vanessa that made her even more confident in what they have and that's why you're not really seeing her/them because she's kind of just chilling and unperturbed by everything else.

I know RS insists there was drama between her and Danielle L. but since that was never shown, who knows what was really said and what really happened. And I'll wait to see what the issue with her and Rachel was about and how that got started, if they even show it. But I just think about how they highlighted Raven's being so upset about not getting the group date rose, even if she had just had a 1 on 1 with Nick.

And yet Vanessa who now on three group dates has yet to receive the rose, we get zero reaction from her about it. And I know that it could have happened but it just wasn't shown but I feel like if it did, that would be something they would show to create doubt. And speaking of the group date rose, while it is true she never received one, Vanessa is also the one who was always on a date every week, including the two 1 on 1's she received.

Is there going to be another Vanessa 1on1 coming up soon?
