Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

^^ Ben is in Warsaw Indiana. IMO , all these friends visits are for her pre birthday celebration . This is her first public Birthday post bachelor. IMO, I don't think any trip is happening the end of this month , maybe it got cancelled or this staycation was the one she was talking about . She already spent time with her bachelor friends, her pre bachelor besties and now with her all time bestie in creek .She had mentioned it was a girls trip so who else is left to go with her on the vacation now??JMO

I was wondering if she was teasing everyone about the girls trip . I can't remember her saying it was a tropical area. I believe her friend Whitney responded on her Instagram to her friend they were at Lauren's on a girls trip. JMO. I was thinking this might have been what Lauren was referring to since she's such a prankster then this staycation. JMO plus all this the last full week of January. JMO wouldn't it be nice if Ben took her to a tropical island for her birthday? Lol can I assume he went to Indiana for a public appearance especially since her friend Meghan had this all planned the same weekend knowing he wouldn't see Lauren? JMO in all these thinking out loud.

Also, Lauren was in LA for a few days, went to Nashville for a few days not too long after that trip, went back to Denver and that same day had her friends from Cali visit her for a few days, they leave and now she's having a staycation with her other friend, and she's supposed to have a girls trip somewhere tropical within the next few days? Good Lord. When was the last time she spent good, quality alone time with Ben? JMO.

Yeah, I thought they were supposed to start wedding planning for real in January. Instead it seems to me like they've barely seen each other.

That tweet had emojis of an airplane, a palm tree, a sun and a drink. There are other tweets besides that one. How utterly ridiculous if this staycation in Denver is what she was referring to, but I doubt it.

It'd be interesting to know how much time/days they have spent alone together since before Christmas traveling started because from an outside viewer it seems like hardly any. But I don't have the time or patience to weed through their social media to figure that out. Lol

What about how much time they were together before the christmas? Neither of they were apart . They travelled together all the time whether it was for their show or for family affairs . Maybe Lauren is doing some catching up with friends . It's only been a month after Christmas . If this was going on for many months than it was questionable and on top it's Lauren's Birthday time . JMO

Ben and Lauren themselves said filming the show and doing thre press for it wasn't real life. They're a couple who have been together for over a year now and IMO they were essentially saying in interviews that filming the show halted their relationship growth as they still need to get to know each other better and work on their relationship.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they were still doing some press in November for the show when it was ending. December and January have been their first two months of normalcy and from what I've seen on social media, they've barely been together or at least alone together. JMO

^Ben has been quoted in a Juliet Litman interview stating he does not like when Lauren snaps him. It's been discussed that There is a noticeably lesser presence of Ben in her snapchat and Instagram posts due to this IMO. Ben has even deleted/edited posts in the past due to his caption and people being mean to Lauren.

IMO, I don't need to see posts of them in bed, cuddled on the couch or affirmations of love spewed on SM to believe these two are happily together. This may not be everyone's ideal relationship, but if this works for them then that's all the matters, and IMO there is nothing indicative of these two separating anytime soon.

^ I didn't mention anything in regards to social media. I don't need to. Lauren was in LA for a few days without Ben, went to Nashville for a few days after that without Ben, the same night she got home she had her Cali friends with her for a few days, so no quality time alone with just Ben, now she's on a staycation with her friend without Ben since he's in Indiana, and she's supposedly going on another girls trip soon without Ben.

That alone tells me they've spent very little time alone together during the month of January.

^^i dont remember them saying filming and press was not real life . Ben did say he saying yes to many things like appearances or other bachelor stuff was wrong of him as it didn't help them focus as a couple . He said certain things shown on the show was supposed to be only between two people in a relationship and showcasing it to the world was not a great idea . They both mentioned being together 24/7 for last few months was not a healthy thing for their relationship as they both are kind of people who need some time apart doing their own things too . Maybe that's what they are doing now IMO. I don't see anything wrong with it. If it keeps going this way than maybe But just based on Lauren spending time with Amanda after her break off, Lauren going on girls trip exact at a time when Ben went to Florida for work , Lauren's friend visiting both Ben and Lauren and spending all time together as friends and now Lauren being with Megan at creek for their joint birthday celebration when Ben is in warshaw for basketball tournament is NOT a red flag.IMHO

JMOAA: There are approx. 30 days a month. Even if she is with friends 50% of them she is still with Ben in that home 50% of the time. That's a lot of "quality" time for some people. I think she is accustomed to traveling and not being a homebody; my opinion is based on her job history. So just maybe things are how they like them.
IMO: if no wedding is planned(as far as a date), and I don't think there is one, there is nothing keeping Lauren living in the same home as Ben in a town she moved, to if the relationship was not ok. I'd be outta there. So IMO, their relationship is probably still ok.

Imo lots of things could be keeping her in Denver in a dying or dead relationship- embarrassment, inertia, continued shilling opportunities as 1/2 a Bach couple, hope for things to change, etc.
