Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

So Ben  went  to ski the day Lauren return to Denver interesting. This two seem to have more fun with their friends than together ***IMO***

I'm neutral on these two. They never really got me engaged...separately or as a couple...but one thing I have seen over they years following along with all the sleuthers here, when there is smoke, a fire isn't far behind.

I know SM isn't everything since people choose what they show us, but I have seen how these type of little things have led sleuthers in the past to correctly predict all kinds of breakups. Josh/Andi and Josh/Amanda being a couple of examples that spring to mind. Should be interesting.

If Ben and Lauren are headed for a break up, then good for her being surrounded by friends and not sitting around waiting for Ben and moping. Funny how Lauren gets criticism for other people's sm actions, for being with friends, and having fun, whereas Ben gets no criticism for going on his own trips. ***IMO***
Lauren turned her life around, moved to Denver, was prepared to marry him, build a life together. It's been Ben, who has no been ready, publicly humiliating her a few times. ***IMO*** But Lauren gets criticism for living life and having fun, instead of sitting around and serving Ben. ***IMO***. I say Go Lauren, enjoy life and live, you deserve it!

I saw where Lauren liked the picture of Ben and his friends in the gondola skiing today . That's good. I would think if they were having trouble why would she like a pic ?  I agree he was the one who hurt her twice on national TV and never apologize for to her. He's the one who needs to grow up ***IMO***. He said he has learned alot of things about himself this year. I listened to his podcast Tuesday with Juliet's something and he referred to his fiance and then things he asked Lauren about Nick. He also mentioned their goddaughter came down to watch with them. To me he wouldn't put the part in their about the goddaughter if things weren't good. He also said Lauren was a cool girl level headed,mature when talking about different parts of the bachelor. He seemed really happy in the podcast laughing slot. IMO why would he talk about her in such positive way if they were having problems. Wouldn't it be nice if Lauren and Whitney were meeting up with Ben and Matthias for an evening of fun. They did meet in Honduras. Just a thought.  It does seem their lives were so scheduled during the HEA show that now their just enjoying life. I need to remember they don't have to o be tied together all the time. I'm going to try and think positive thoughts cuz I really think their OK.

Upon checking in this thread this morning, I immediately had to edit 3 posts.  I think some here need to either review or read for the first time the Rules & Guidelines and Ettiquette posts that are located at the top of the forum on the main page.

Yesterday the thread was locked, several posts reported, and tons of posts had to be edited by multiple mods to include IMO/JMO.  That will not happen again today.  After all the warnings and edits yesterday, posts will simply be deleted today or the thread will get locked for a while until all parties have had time to cool off, can be respectful to each other and can follow the forum rules.

IMO, it's really not that hard!  When stating a fact back it up with proof (links, pics, articles - all properly sourced).  When stating an opinion, use I think, IMO (in my opinion - in case some don't know what that abbreviation is) or JMO (just my opinion).  

No snipping at each other, no tit for tat and no comparing other couples.  Other than that all thoughts and opinions are welcome.

I hate to start the date with a warning, so let's get back on topic and have some good discussion.  And remember to use IMO/JMO.  

Topic - Ben and Lauren, carry on...

I hope Ben finally sees through what's behind the fake sweet face and that annoying vocal fry. That girl may have done everything to entertain her own day dream, I never saw what she did as some sacrifices for Ben.

I thought she was named the most realistic contestants ever when she wanted Ben to chase her all season long. But then, move to Denver right away without even get to know him. I mean, she keeps doing things that seem to be contradicting, and I hardly see it's all Ben's fault.

All just my opinions about Lauren.

IMO, Lauren deserves someone better than Ben . He may have been the bachelor and there is no denying in he is a good human being and good looking guy but sometimes a relationship needs much more . He has some serious issues to get over .
Many women (including myself)if had been in Lauren's position IMO would have long left Ben for the humiliation he has caused her multiple times . I admire her patience. Lauren being an introvert, she has come a long way in trying to be more open and social which I m sure is not an easy task with so much scrunity going on in her life . She is one heck of a strong woman.

I completely agree.

IMO Ben has a lot of growing up to do, he has to learn to make compromises, and meet his partner half way. IMO, had Ben had to give up his job, his house, move to live in Lauren's place, make new friends, build up a new career that interests him, then take part in a reality show where Lauren backed out of a wedding very publicly, Ben would've walked away. I have no doubt about that. IMO.

Also, it appears Ben is back in Indiana while Lauren is celebrating her birthday with friends in Denver.
