Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #5

Lauren was gone for a week in LA, gone in Nashville this week while Ben was elsewhere for work, and is going to be gone next week or the week after for another girls trip. January is almost over. For a couple who were claiming at Nick's premiere at the beginning of January that they really want to settle down and focus on getting to know each other and their relationship it doesn't really seem like they're trying to do that. All JMO.

Lauren was on her way home in the early afternoon. Considering they haven't seen each other all week, you would think Ben would have skipped the ski trip since he just did that last weekend. JMO

Lauren snapped herself flying home at 12:45. Ben was first spotted skiing 10 hours ago. For all we know, he could have made it home to pick Lauren up. Or maybe Lauren felt it wasn't necessary since she had to pick up Whitney from the airport in a short amount of time. Or who knows, maybe they are driving Ben's way right now to go skiing. We don't really know anything.

Man I don't take three trips in an entire year and she's taking three in a month. A little jealous over here. Lol. But in all honesty I find it a little weird Ben wasn't there to pick her up at the airport after they were apart all week. That just seems like a common thing an engaged couple would do. JMO

IMO , 4 days Lauren spent in LA after the bachelor premier was to support a friend who recently had broken up with her significant other. This Nashville girl seems like a impromptu trip as Amanda mentioned on her instagram. Ben was already on his way to Florida so I don't see any wrong in Lauren choosing to go on the trip instead of sitting at home alone watching the walls and ceilings. The trip which Lauren mentioned will be at the end of this month was the one she had planned with her friends beforehand .
Lauren and Ben have been joined at hip till November for their show. If they want to spend some time with friends, what's the harm??
It's true when you are in a relationship , the other person becomes you priority, but does that mean you completely ignore your friends?JMO?

Well, if things are tanking, it won't be long to see something really concrete. IMO

In the last two months they are spending more time apart than together (*edited* those are facts ***IMO***) her birthday is February 2 that should say a lot who she spends it with ***IMO***

I'm not going to sit and count up days that they were and weren't together, so I'm not sure if it's actually a fact they've been apart more than together.  If someone has kept up with it In that much detail, your welcome to show the stats, but let's not go over board.  

Yes, they've been apart a lot.  They were together some.  That about as much fact as I'm willing to make.  But that's just me.

And IMO we need to be careful stating facts vs. opinions.  The thread has been locked once already and posts have been edited all day.  When stating facts, back it up with proof.  When stating opinions, use IMO/JMO.  Stating opinions as facts makes lots of extra work for the mods, causes lots of miscommunications and disagreements and gets threads locked quickly.

I'm trying to follow along here. After the Bach premier, Lauren stayed in Cali for four days to console her BFF AmanDuh (who dated Lauren's fiance') after Duh split with MeAndI's ex. Bennie went off to his real-world job in Florida after Lauren made it clear that he needed to work (per reports).

With a girls' trip already planned for a week from now, Lauren heads off to Nashville with Duh, Lace (another Ben conquest) and other BFFs. All of this is okey-dokey because BenLo spent so much quality time together filming their second reality show.

You can't make this stuff up!   I believe I'm being factual re-capping the above, but it can all be considered as my opinion. JMO.

I agree, you can't make is stuff up and IMO, it all (Bach nation as a whole with all its crossovers, hook ups, etc.) just gets more and more convoluted, kind of gross, yet somewhat entertaining.

@FLChica you forgot to add that per her Twitter, Lauren booked this girl trip that's happening next week 24 hours after being home in Denver after a few days away in LA

@Ash2214. IMO If this coming girl trip is with her non bachelor friends than they were discussing it before Lauren came back to Denver. Her friend Whitney had mentioned it on one of her instagram pic , I know this because I follow her too .

Regardless of when Lauren was talking about potentially taking the vacation, per Lauren herself, she officially booked the trip 24 (or a little more than) hours after she got back to Denver.
