Nick Viall - Bachelor 21 - Episode 3 Jan 16th - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I loved Nick and Vanessa's date - their chemistry was off the charts. To me the date had everything - they were goofy, they were supportive, they were emotional and they were passionate. From the very beginning I felt like their interactions were closer to a date way later in the season.

Nick is a horrible actor - horrible. His face/eyes and mannerisms tell it all. So far no one has come even close.

I agree with others his tears did not seem fake to me. And they did not seem to be directly about Vanessa. They seemed to be more about actually giving himself to this process, after what he and his family had been through and that doubt "can I trust my emotions in this world"? When he started to cry and then had that laugh - to me that was the most honest moment I think we have seen of Nick - it was almost as if he thought I have been through this before and he was prepared to come in walls up based on the past - and then in that moment he realised he was being vulnerable despite his mind telling him otherwise.

I have always been a fan of Nick, while that definition of fan has changed throughout his seasons, me now seeing him more as a TV personality vs. an actual human to root for. However on his date with Vanessa he reminded me of the guy that came out on Andi's season, I like Vanessa's version of Nick.

I just loved Vanessa and Nick's date.  Best date I've seen on this show in a long time and I credit that to their actual conversation during dinner.  IMO, Nick's tears were genuine, and a symptom of him being a bit overwhelmed in the moment.  Can't wait to see more of them.

In my opinion this whole drama with Corrine is so producer driven it's a joke.  I'm sure to try and get a repeat of Kaitlyn's season.   One would think these girls have watched this show enough to realize these producers are evil   's

Re the bold, this IMO is very true. There have been high hopes for several past leads only to see them get crucified later. So far so good, IMHO.

Hello! Does anyone have a good screenshot of Nick wearing the suit with the flowered tie? I need a new avi and think that will work well. I loved how he looked in that.

Love the way you said that. I feel like Nick has always been "Vanessa's version". He just needed the stimulus to remove all the layers that he has used to protect himself since Andi's season ended. While I think Nick has been himself in his private life, publically he has been protecting himself with sarcasm, self-deprivation and shirtless selfies. I feel privileged to watch Vanessa bring the real Nick "back" to the viewers eyes.

So I just watched last night's episode and I came away with what I think is probably an unpopular opinion, but I think the girls in the house are being catty b*tches towards Corrine, and I don't even like her! It's such pack mentality IMO. She hasn't fallen in line with what they perceive to be how a ~mature~ and ~classy~ woman acts, so they're all (i'm excluding Vanessa because her issue was HIS behaviour) running to Nick with their 'fake concern' about her behaviour and her nanny. They all need to grow the h*ll up. All JMO.

IDK...Did you catch the kitchen scene of them? They have to clean up after themselves and do for themselves. I would imagine someone who has never done this or have knowledge of such(she did not know how to clean a spoon. Really?) might get on people's nerves.
It appears she does as she pleases evidenced by her naps. She's tired, so she will sleep when she wants to. It could be this do as she wants extends to her general behavior.
The viewer does not have the luxury to see what actually goes on 99% of the time to understand the full picture. IMO

I can't help but agree with you, which is crazy because last week she was getting on my last nerve but this week I was laughing throughout the whole episode. Raven also rubbed me the wrong way with how she snitched on the nanny-issue. I don't know, it just seemed catty to me.
I still feel pretty meh about Rachel, I need to see more of her to form an opinion.
On a positive note: I loved #Nessa! You could literary feel their chemistry through the screen and what I love even more is how they connect on an intellectual and emotional level as well. And boy, does she challenge him! I had to laugh out load when he wrote in his blog that he had to revaluate his actions after Vanessa chewed him out (rightfully so!) He's already such a gonner. Can't wait to see more. All JMO.

@Kashathediva I get being annoyed but I feel like they're all feeding off each other (that's where the pack mentality comes in for me) and overdoing it. It's just too OTT. All JMO.

I can relate to this comment in that for the first time since Andi's season I actually saw the Nick that I remember and was rooting for! When he started crying I almost felt like that side of him had been buried deep, deep down saw the light of day and it broke out of his hidden deep part ...almost unexpectedly...his facial expressions, his demeanor, his tone of voice - everything was different during the date with Vanessa and I saw a bit of that from him during his interactions with Rachel

@emusha. Yes, Nick's vulnerable side was on TV screen last night. Quite refreshing! iMO
