Found this on Fort, apparently someone named Maxx posts weekly spoilers:

Ozzy beats Christine (as expected) and does a pretend yelling fight with Cochran (the Trojan Horse plan)...Ozzy returns to the game, and Cochran DOES give him back the HII (actually, I kinda thought he would)...Ozzy also wins first individual immunity challenge, so he has 2 immunities. However, Coach's tribe doesn't buy that Ozzy's tribe is against him, and Cochran doesn't (seemingly) "pretend to jump" as previously said....he really does! The plot thickens!

Oh no No more eye candy....Keith goes.

Yeah, I've been reading his stuff on occasion. His links get posted there, Jokers and Survivor Sucks. http://www.tvfunspot.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13775

Nice thing: he only spoils on a week-by-week basis and is more accurate than any of the boot lists (ALL of which have had at least three "exits" wrong so far). I guess we could call him the Reality Steve for this show, "waiting for verification" first before leaking... or so all of these spoiler folk like to say. He also admits to being wrong at times... and he IS on occasion, although his batting average is better than anybody else online. He also posts snotty little digs now and then on that total mess of a Survivor Sucks forum, where a great many are clueless who will win the stupid season, but are "cocky" confident none of the "dark horses" will (i.e. Whitney, Al, Sophie, Edna, Rick, etc.). Surprisingly, there are huge legions of fans gunning for Jim, Cochran and Dawn (although I could easily see her winning by default). Rolling Eyes

Hey! It is anybody's game. I am, however, quite bothered at how Jeff Probst didn't like Coach before the show, but does now... and how nobody from the show appears to like Coach post-show (with occasional snark on Twitter). Don't dislike Coach, but he is... well, we aren't supposed to "like" the winners anyway. Hopefully the "vibes" I'm getting are wrong and others outlast him.

JBF, has he given any indication of who he thinks may win?

Nope. He doesn't have that answer, but probably knows the top 3-5... maybe. Like I suggested, he does get his spoilers wrong, just not as often as others online. Think Reality Steve again, stating Brad was dating Chantal... anybody can be hoodwinked by their sources.

This quote of his is interesting though:

"Usually I enjoy the show and have some favorites and some I hate, but not with this season. Well that’s not quite true. I still hate some of them, quite a few of them actually. But I really don’t have any favorites this season. I don’t know if it’s because I have the spoilers or if it’s because we have uninteresting castaways this season."

This suggests that one or two of the "dark horses" I mentioned above just might make it to the final three...

I do think producer Burnett & company is keeping close tabs on the leaks so that ALL spoilers will be off to a degree. There was a lot of legal hullabaloo two seasons back regarding leaks. I also think that the editing of this show is downright screwy, focusing less on The Winner and more on the "scene stealers" (i.e. Brandon) whom you somehow know will not quite make it to the end. Many on the Survivor Sucks "speculation" threads (which are a waste of time reading although some posters are quite colorful and amusing) think you can pick out the winner from amount of time (s)he has in the first episode, one reason Dawn is a favorite. That to me is a bit silly since several past seasons have had winners who were virtually invisible until mid-season.

Survivor - South Pacific - Discussion - Spoilers - Page 7 Empty Re: Survivor - South Pacific - Discussion - Spoilers

Post by JBF Sat Oct 29, 2011 1:08 pm

Just adding something else...

The behavior patterns of the contestants post-show is interesting and probably better examining for clues. Twitter is especially interesting in this regard.

Coach isn't very sociable with others post-show and some like Mikayla clearly dislike him despite the fact that we saw no real conflict between them on screen. I think Mikayla likes Brandon better than Coach. This suggests that their feud was over-dramatized. No, they are hardly friends either, but at least she tweets with Uncle Russ.

Albert and Sophie are friends post-show and I think there's a photo floating around with Al, Keith and Whitney seeing each other post-show. I'm guessing both Al and Whitney must have socialized a bit post-merge and it is a given that she and Keith were recently dating (still together or not, I'm not sure). If Keith doesn't get back in the game after being booted (if Maxx's spoiler is right), would Al only know him through Whitney?

Then there's Cochran, strongly disliked by Whitney for some reason. Jeff Probst, however, LOVES him. Does this make him the winner or just somebody Jeff wanted to win? I do think Jeff favors those who don't win but play a great game and keep him amused. In this way, they make fun "recycles" for all-star seasons.

Jeff also speaks well on Twitter of Coach but not so much Ozzy post-show, although an interview shot at the start of the season in late May has him predicting Ozzy outlasting Coach. Now, this makes me think Coach wins the season, but then I ask the question: Why does Jeff talk about him as if he is The Star of the show? Why has Coach been hogging up so much screen time? Is he really this season's Boston Rob? Although Rob won, he wasn't edited on screen as an easy winner like Coach is (i.e. Rob was given lots of obstacles and enemies). I still think the editors are setting up viewers for a "gotcha!" here.

Jeff tweets a lot about Coach, Ozzy, Brandon, Dawn, Cochran and even Jim... along with Christine and others we know don't make it. (I feel sorry for Christine: she deserves to go back to the others after winning so many challenges, but I think production WANTS somebody other than her to win for some odd reason... I don't believe this show was ever "fair".) Now, he did personally tweet Albert and a few others once during the airing of the first episode, but have avoided discussing any of the "dark horses" online. Is he doing this because they don't win or is he HIDING them from the public because one of them DOES win?

Once again, the editing of this show is screwy. On one level, they don't care if you "like" the winner. I mean... "Fabio" and Sandra (winning twice by sitting on her butt)? Russell never won and, yes, he ain't lovable but he still made great TV. You can't compare this show with The Bachelor(ette), in which the final one is always shown interacting with the lead at least a little in episode #1 and is often at one end of each rose-ceremony lineup so that (s)he can't see the facial reactions of his/her final 2 or 3 "rivals". (Bloomers is the expert on this.) With Survivor, the winner may be seen nowhere in the early episodes and then come into front-view later in the season.

Wow, thanks for all that info! Honestly, if I had to guess the winner right now, I do not know who I would choose. I guess if forced, I'd say Coach.
I use to like TDT's Survivometer....why did that stop?

I guess only time will tell, unless Maxx decides to spill.

OK the scoreboard is updated and the recap posted in its thread. From the spoilers above it looks like an interesting week coming up. I am still pulling for Dawn to win but I don't think she will. She is a terrific player though, especially for being one of the older ones. I like Coach 100 times better this time around. He is still quirky but not an out right cukoo like he was last time. I really like Ozzy but I don't particularly want him to be the ultimate winner.

Ethan Zohn's Cancer Returns

Even as he was enjoying his 20th month of remission from Hodgkin's lymphoma, Ethan Zohn worried about a relapse.

"I don't want fear or cancer to define me, but it's always in the back of your mind," the former Survivor winner tells PEOPLE in a new interview.

His fears were confirmed on Sept. 14, when doctors told him the cancer had returned in his chest.

"It's localized in my lung area," Zohn, 37, says. "But it's good that it's not all over my body."

His girlfriend of eight years, Jenna Morasca, 30, was by his side when Zohn got the news. "She's taking it like the rock star that she is," he says of Morasca, who also won Survivor. "We're both filled with fear and anger and anxiety and gratitude and frustration. But there's so much love there. It's this whole spectrum of emotions."

On Oct. 18, Zohn began a new "smart" form of chemotherapy, SGN-35, that only targets the cancerous cells, which means, he says, "I won't lose my hair again."

After 12 weeks of treatment, Zohn hopes to undergo another stem-cell transplant – this time from one of his brothers, who is a likely match.

"But the doctors won't tell me which one. They didn't want me to start treating one differently than the other," Zohn says. "Of course my whole family is taking bets on who it is."

Although Zohn's life has turned upside down once again, he still plans to run in the New York City Marathon on Nov. 6 to raise money for his Grassroot Soccer organization, which promotes HIV/AIDS education and prevention.

"The doctors think I'm crazy but they gave me the okay," he says. "Cancer isn't going to slow me down. I want people to know that you can still live a fulfilled life and move forward."

For more of Zohn's exclusive interview, pick up the Nov. 14 issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday

TWITTER TALK IN SURVIVOR LAND

... and NOT for virgin ears. I did my best to "tone it down" but prepare for some potty talk.

Yesterday’s (November 1) tit-for-tat between Whitney, Shannon (an early dumpee in a past season and quite a smart mouth) and Russell getting in on the battle…

@Mickey_Drake:
wondering what @whitneyduncan did to the editors of #cbssurvivor to have them never, ever show her. its bullshit

@whitneyduncan
Haha RT

@survivorshannon Survivor Shannon E ™
congrats Kelly purple! I mean Whitney!! Congrats on making it boring I mean further!! Stick to singing.

@whitneyduncan
@survivorshannon Must suck to know 1 survivor episode is as good as ur life gets.

@survivorshannon
cause u can't show something if u give nothing!!!

@whitneyduncan
At least I'm not the person voted out first because I'm a douchebag:) RT

@russellhantz
@whitneyduncan r u really trying to talk shit !! I bet u say nothing to me ! Do it i dare you !Why @survivorshannon ??

@survivorshannon
all these poor people and their "thin skin"! Sometimes the truth hurts I guess.

@russellhantz
I told you she would shut her mouth ! Shannon would she be the one to cuddle with lol you r her type

@survivorshannon
lol yea black hair and red draws!!! Lolol she wud b perfect for ur "dumbass blonde coaster alliance"!!!

@russellhantz
I don't know man you know when I do that school yard pick I'll take @iLuvMiki I'll give you

@ILuvMiki (Mikayla)
woahhhhhh

********

Today…

@whitneyduncan
Who's gonna watch #survivor tonight?! Lotsa craziness!!!

We soon learn why she dislikes Cochran so much…

@JeffProbst
We’re back!

OK… only doing the MAJOR tweets of Jeff. Skipping his Tout for now, much of it about Cochran and Coach. This guy LOVES LOVES LOVES Cochran. Probably wants to adopt him as a kid.

Is Cochran getting cocky? Or just sticking up for himself?

Drinking game – Cochran said it – “then you get the million dollars” clue?

oh Ozzy – talented in so many ways… thespian not one of them. Horrible liar.

(Ozzy vs. Christine) Here it is – biggest duel of the season so far!

(Ozzy’s trash talk on Redemption): Do you think you would buy this story?

Ozzy is back in the game. Huge move and it paid off.

Wow. Coach is ON FIRE. ON FIRE. I’m loving Coach this year.

Yeah. We know, Jeff. He’s your new bro-buddy.

He would be a great interrogator this season. He is working Cochran. He senses his weakness. Being bullied. Good stuff.

I might be the dragon slayer now, but I know what that feels like. Come across that line…” SO GOOD

oh oh Dawn is crying again… never good.

@labelleian:
How can you not have a soft spot in your heart for dawn!

yep I like her RT

Big immunity for Dawn – she is safe. Huge at tonight’s tribal. Gives her power.

This is like a Hitchcock movie. “going to rocks” would be gigantic. Only happened once back in season 4.

Jim’s logic makes NO sense. It’s still an individual game and he would still have to choose a rock. Nuts.

I’m with Cochran. Screw the rocks.

@fantseepants: (uh… oh, must be on the west coast getting spoiled…)
@JeffProbst he could just stay off twitter for an hour

take a long walk

What would you do if you were Cochran? Stay or betray. One word answer- give it to me…

This is huge and Sophie is so happy she thinks they made wrong choice

That was even better tonight than it was when it was live!!

OH MY GOD… he did it. There will be hell to pay.

@breezybabytrvl:
best tribal yet in survivor been watch since day 1!

pretty damn good! RT

*******
Others... apart from Jeff Probst.

As usual, Jim Rice, Brandon and Coach Ben are mostly mute. Dawn (@meehan) does her tweets pre-show then keeps quiet.

@rachhh14
@SurvivorAlbert is defiantly the smartest player in the game #survivor #favorite

@SurvivorAlbert
@rachhh14 Much appreciated!

@whitneyduncan
How many blurs on my mouth tonight?! Like 3 I think. My mama's gonna wash my mouth out with soap, haha #survivor #sosorrymama

CODplayer923 Josh Schwendemann
@whitneyduncan i cant believe you, i thought you were a good christian, saying that cochran disgusts u for how he voted

@whitneyduncan
@CODplayer923 if u would have been there you would have been disgusted too. Christian or not. We r still humans.

@CODplayer923 well then that would make u a weasel too. No one was mean to him. Weakness are pointed out on everyone in the game. #survivor

@Hugh310:
Cockroach isn't trying to win the game, he's trying to earn his 'call me by my last name' stripes.

@whitneyduncan
Haha true. RT

@SurvivorCochran
*teeth chatter*

********
YEE MOUTHY ONE

@russellhantz…
and he LOVES the B-word and at this point, why censor that? I’ll get rid of his worst potty lines.

I’m back, bitches!

Watch him, he’s like a monkey. #ozzy

If Ozzy doesn’t win the rest of the challenges from here on out, I will kiss you’re a**, so line up, bitches!!!! @everybody

@SurvivorCoach Really? You sond like me. Surprising, but good talk.

Now you f***ed up. Weak baby boy at the end of the line, p****. #cochoran

All of a sudden I don’t like this little baby. I want to call him another name but they won’t let me. #cochoran

@iLuvMiki (Mikayla)
You never sieze to amaze me!

You have no idea how much I could amaze you…

@JeffProbst I don’t know what the score is, but I think @BrandonHantz is winning the baby tears challenge.

Cochran is already wavering? No shit, Sherlock.

Coach dropped his nutt?? Finally, congradualations!

@BrandonHantz Why didn’t you hold it with your belly? You would have won for sure.

Ozzy wins, go figure. I guess nobody’s coming for me to kiss their as tonight. (I would have made you send a picture first.)

@JeffProbst You going to talk to me now that I’m verified, or am I going to have to play again to get your attention?

I know you are @JeffProbst, but I am @russellhantz… don’t forget.

The rocket scientist in 19 di the same thing for me and switched… maybe to make someone switch, make sure their really “smart.”

Hey Dawn, that bitch is doing it.

#Edna Where did she come from? I thought she was voted off episode 2!

Sorry, Whitney. You still have @survivorcochran to cuddle with.

You better believe @JeffProbst will call me. And when he does, I might not answer.
