I must be a real loser because I've read them all 2x now...sigh laugh out loud. Anyway, there are plenty of comments on both sm platforms wondering if they're still together, did he call off the wedding, encouraging her to stop pandering to him, and also posts wondering the status of the wedding, etc. To me, she reacted to all those. Anyway, we'll see. Time always tells so we don't need a crystal ball.

Ben and Lauren Happily Ever After - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - Page 53 Empty Re: Ben and Lauren Happily Ever After - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Ben and Lauren haven't experienced "real" life together yet. since the moment they met, they have lived their relationship on the public consistently till this day. This show is not doing any favor to their relationship. I personally think it's not healthy the way they are taking things. I feel like they need to rewind and take time off for them. It has been GO GO GO for them since the day they got engaged, and It has to slow down for the sake of their relationship.

on a side note, I kinda feel bad for Lauren. I think she loves him very much, and he is taking advantage of her patiance. Ben has showed him self to be a real JERK with her smh. IMO

Also, I kinda agree with Ben on his decision to postpone the weeding (if it's not a stunt). Been married my self on a young age, I will say that Marriage is NOT games and play, and it's hard work and dedication. I hope they don't get lured by the fans, publicity and money to get the weeding going, it will only cause regret and harm to their relationship IMO

I think fans will believe what they want, non fans will believe what they want, and those that are in the middle are probably the ones that are spot on, because there's no bias. JK. But it's a theory that works for a lot of topics IMO. I actually had an assignment on something similar in Psych my sophomore year of college, intriguing stuff.

I also think it was a good decision to put the wedding on hold, since no one should feel forced into it on their wedding day. I just can't help wondering what Ben thought this whole show was about if not wedding planning. Could he have been naïve enough to think he could use it as some kind of a tool for his political campaign, not realising they'd make him pull out of the running instead? Lauren's stood by him through all his decisions, yet she's still not enough of a "fan" I guess and he'd rather humiliate her again by backing out in front of the cameras and their friends than marry her. The least he could've done is tell her that off camera, which I hope he did, but I'm not so sure. Maybe he is chicken enough to need a therapist in the room before telling her how he really feels.

That stare, the rolling her eyes at him, acting embarrassed he's such a baboon and all those b!tchy mannerisms she likes (IMO) is probably why he's scared to marry her in the first place IMO. They have bad communication, Ben treats her like a prize he's won and doesn't get why the prize suddenly speaks and I'm no fan of hers either laugh out loud

My most "unbiased" viewpoint is that they're probably struggling right now and need to reset the past 6 months.

Orrrrr this is all for the show and they'll announce a wedding for January. In which case, I'll be happy for their fans and confused laugh out loud

Even if they had problems or are having problems, I think they're still gonna get married soon IMO. Because I think they're just stuck together with glue at this point laugh out loud TPTB is the fisher, Ben is the fishing rod, Bach/HEA is the bait, and Lauren is the fish that was caught Ben and Lauren Happily Ever After - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - Page 53 3806527698

Count me in to the group who saw nothing odd in their posts. I hope the follow up wasn't pandering to the fans either. Honestly that never works out well and couples often become slaves to the 'likes.'

Definitely, though I don't know if the cameras in their face have something to do with that. I would hope they can be more open with each other in private. I guess that's what happens when you go for the girl/guy who you think is too good for you (à la Ben). It doesn't really help with persisting feelings of inferiority, and it's hard to be your true self if you're constantly scared of not being good enough.

I was actually thinking about how I would define this, and I think I have an accurate idea: Ben treats Lauren like a princess, but he doesn't treat her with respect. Meaning: he goes above and beyond to show affection to her and to dote on her, but he doesn't listen to her or take her feelings into account based on his actions/words (too much or lack thereof.) IMO. Does this make sense?

I noticed he says 'I love her, but...' a lot. As if merely saying it is enough. Is he showing that to her though? I hope so.
