Oh and just one more thing: Lauren's friends all have very annoying nail-biting valley girl voices. IMO. I literally spilled my water when Kelly spoke.

Hey - shout out to @LennoxColinRolland ! We know what Lauren drives.
Ben's mommy warned us almost a year ago that he needs someone to talk him off the ledge. Yeah, that's true. That's very true. His circular logic and unraveling was just - wow. Lauren handled that very well. I probably would have devolved into a sobbing mess and checked out.
I think he will probably "see the light" and decide to marry Lauren after all, sooner rather than later. That's my guess. But who knows.

Lauren was very mature about all of this. I would not have handled it so well -- I certainly wouldn't want to go on a road trip with him right away. I like Ben -- I do think that he is quite articulate in ways that is almost too good. It is like he knows the right answer to say even if his true feelings are something else.
I do believe that he loves Lauren -- I just think that he is a little more of a commitment-shy guy than what the "perfect bachelor" was portrayed as. There are a lot of women who still think he is the perfect guy and Lauren is so lucky. Honestly, he is blessed to have her. I truly think he is given more of a pass because he is a male, too.
I do think that he was the "apple of his parents eyes" and as helpful and altruistic as he is -- he is also used to having and receiving lots of attention on himself, too.
I find it sad that some women are much harder on other women (than men) and judge other females instead of being supportive and empowering each other IMO. This is all JMO.

Has there been any hint of any actual wedding planning? The cake tasting and the bridesmaid dress shopping they supposedly did on the show seem to be clear skits for the episodes IMO.
I don't see it being remotely possible for a wedding to happen next month or in January. If it's happening in the winter, it would have to be Febuary. JMO

Time will tell with this one - and it will tell relatively quickly. In one interview, Ben said we'd have answers about the wedding, but we wouldn't have a concrete answer until the final episode. Sorry, I'm forgetting which one. I feel like recently they talk out of both sides of their mouth regarding the wedding. For every "we are taking our time" article, there is another one hinting it's soon. The Juliet Litman interview and the Access Hollywood interview comes to mind - made me think wedding was imminent. I guess we'll see. I can honestly see this one going either way.
We know the finale is their Bachelor/ette parties. I think it's cruel to put Lauren through that if the wedding is really kaput. I mean why???? Even her friends were tagging pics #byebyebushnell and #mrshiggins. Just unnesesarily cruel. She clearly, CLEARLY wants to get married and take the televised wedding offer. Ben has really put her through the ringer. First with JoJo ILY BS, next not owning up and apologizing for it, then with the public declarations of "I would marry her tomorrow" and actually ACCEPTING a wedding offer. And then ripping that away with some very strange, round about logic. If Lauren is one thing, she is incredibly loyal and patient with this man. He's lucky to have her, honestly.

I don't see how it's cruel to take away "the wedding" when none of this is real IMO. There's never been any wedding, any Bachelorette party or any of this. It's all scripted for the show or at least that's what I see/hear when they're fighting or whatever. So if the fighting is scripted, then to me, the rest is just as scripted. She signed up for all this so zero, ZERO compassion here.
He's just a child so no need to worry much about what he says IMO.

I agree that most of this show is scripted. Most of last night felt genuine to me, genuine emotions. They were ACTUALLY offered a wedding. They ACTUALLY accepted. And (as of where we were last night), Ben ACTUALLY recinded that offer and Lauren is ACTUALLY hurt and confused.
But, you know, I'm ACTUALLY watching the show and that's my impression.

How many episodes are left? I feel like if there's no formal announcement right after the last episode with an actual date for the wedding then I don't see it happening within the next 2-3 months, which is this winter.

Two episodes left. Not enough time I feel to turn things around. Also apparently they put together these weddings in like two weeks which seems impossible. Also I don't think Ben could have been faking last night. He is not that good of an actor he seemed actually terrified when he said I don't want us to rush.

Agreed. If there is no resolution and formal announcement after the last episode (in 2 weeks), they won't be getting married this winter and we can probably kiss a televised wedding goodbye. I still think it's possible we'll get resolution and Ben comes around. I guess we'll know for sure soon.
