I remember Ben saying in interviews that this episode was basically going to suck and that they probably wouldn't watch it. I think they are going to bounce back from this in the next episodes. The press release says how will this affect their relationship in the midst of wedding doubts.

I know. Tough position to be in. Idk. I obviously see them getting married, because whether or not they're actually right for each other or whatever, they already have it in their minds that they're going to be together. Lauren's right though: Ben was singing this tune to every damn body, that he would "marry her tommorow" at MTA and finale (probably a mix of naivety, guilt, regret, and honeymoon phase), but now wants to pump the brakes.Ash2214 wrote:Lennoxcolinrolland wrote:^ Yeah, but I'm sure they'll get convinced to do it soon. Ben has said he wants Lauren to have all she wants for the wedding, so a free wedding with no budget PLUS getting paid... That's hard to turn down, especially if there's no gurantee for getting that opportunity in the future. Idk, I just can't see them not doing it in the next few months. Maybe in the summer? When bachelorette airs? Idk, I still think it's gonna happen soon
I can't even imagine what making that decision must be like. They haven't had a normal relationship in the year they've been together, but how the heck can you turn down getting paid to get married and getting a free, beautiful wedding?!
February is two and a half months away. If it does miraculously happen this winter, I'm betting on February. JMO

I'm so glad I've invested 0 minutes in watching this show.
I'm not sure I'm buying a wedding happening soon. If it was, I really don't see December or January as likely. If they are planning a made for tv wedding I think there would have been some actually hunts about that.

I can believe this. First and foremost, and still to this day: Ben and Lauren are cast members in their own freaking relationship.Alanna wrote:I think what's going on is their fake/real world catching up to them here if they don't get married in the next 3 months.
If everything fake and scripted and real and unreal and true and produced is a melting pot, how can anyone make heads or tails of what's going on? They signed up probs for the dolla, dolla bills but now they have to pay the piper, so to speak, with a wedding, and the cross of real and ho'ing themselves and their relationship out for the show is confounding their actual readiness and feelings. IMO.

Idk, maybe watching these people confused about who they loved one hour and engaged practically minutes later season after season has ruined me . I think the wedding will probably still happen and Ben will suddenly feel like it's right.
I thought that was the whole purpose of the show?

I also don't get the feeling that Ben legitimately feels like he's not sure he wants to marry Lauren. I think he has his baby moments and is maybe freaking out a little.

Probably, which is another reason I can't onboard with these fakers IMO. They're still acting for the audience, a full year after the actual Bachelor season ended filming. Good luck to them. Wonder how they'll make it when a new cash cow darling rolls into the franchise, and all they'll have is like, idk, each other?bleuberry wrote:Idk, maybe watching these people confused about who they loved one hour and engaged practically minutes later season after season has ruined me . Big: You know, Manhattan has a lot of beautiful women.
Carrie: What an amazing observation!
Big: But the thing is, after awhile, you just wanna be with the one who makes you laugh.

On the show tonight, he said numerous times that he DOES want to marry Lauren and be with her forever, just that he didn't want to get married right now. So, I don't think that's ever been an issue IMO.bleuberry wrote:I also don't get the feeling that Ben legitimately feels like he's not sure he wants to marry Lauren. Oh, sorry, I meant to say marry her so soon. I thought the timeline of it all was the issue.

This show has cemented my thought about these two in turns of "money making." I'm done with the idea that they're classy shillers. Cause frankly, that's a lie IMO. This show is a shill in-itself. Most of this sh*t is fake as hell. But money talks. And free stuff: a fiat and furniture (that they made it seem like Ben bought all that crap, when Lauren was actually snapping the furniture coming in REAL TIME.) Plus, Lauren's blog is still considered a shill. Selling stuff after the fact, #spon tag and all, that's a shill, doesn't matter if it's a blog/tweet/IG.Alanna wrote:Probably, which is another reason I can't onboard with these fakers IMO. All IMO.

@bleuberry yeah I got the feeling from his very circular thinking that he wants to marry her and be her husband just not right NOW. So, you know, let's just keep doing that fun happy stuff we were doing before, you know, you started actually planning, okay honey? I don't know how she didn't hit him. All my opinion.
