Thanks for all your answers. My reply is a little late since my internet went out for a minute. I'm still reading your post.

I stopped watching her season after a few episodes so most of this is news to me. Do people get the feeling that he's in it for marriage? I don't think JoJo is in a hurry either despite what she may have said on the show. So if they're happy to just stay engaged then things could be worse kwim. I could see them doing what K&S are doing for a few years.

It's okay. People are entitled to their opinion! Lots of people loved Jordan while the show was airing and plenty of people didn't like him. That's the way it goes with this show. Everyone has fans and everyone has people that dislike them. It's very rare for anyone, whether on this show or in real life, to be universally liked.
All I know is that post show, Jordan has gone above and beyond and so has JoJo. It's been fun to watch. They seem like a great match who both adore each other's friends and families. It seems like they're really working at it, which is all you can really ask for when it comes to these couples. JMO

Welcome @Melissawashere ! ITA with a lot of what you said about JoJo/Jordan and their season. If you check out their fan thread, in real time they seem (SEEM) to be doing really great. They've made a lot of healthy choices post show and it appears they are in love and on the right track. Happy for them. I like JoJo. I LOVE Jordan's brother. By extension you'd think I could like Jordan. And in real time, for the most part I do. He seems to have his head on straight.
I've never been able to cross over to fandom for a variety of reasons. The biggest reason is that I just didn't like their story on tv. A lot of people did though, and that's great. But JoJo Jordan love story that we saw on our screens for 8/10 weeks just didn't resonate with me. They as people never grabbed me fully either. So even though I like and respect them, wish them well, and think they are on the right track... it's just not a story I ever personally invested in.

They've done everything right. They've included both families in on everything. They've blended both families too. They're together all the time, but have their own separate projects and are able to be apart at times too. They stay out of the spotlight and off of social media. JoJo is only 26 and Jordan is 28. Do I think they want to get married within the next 6-8 months? No, probably not. Do I think they would want to get married within the next year or two? Yes, I do.
They seem to have a really healthy and strong relationship. All JMO

I disagree that they would do the K+S thing, who just bought a huge house together without even seeming to consider being married first. IMO they're both traditional and even adhere to a more traditional family set up. I think Jo especially would need and want the security of his last name, wedding ring, being introduced as his wife and all the social "cache" that comes with "wife" instead of fake reality the fiancée slash glorified girlfriend. We'll see and time will tell of course but I don't see them tarrying on a wedding if they're really going to stay in this thing for the long ride here.bleuberry wrote:I stopped watching her season after a few episodes so most of this is news to me. Thanks. This lines up well with me as of right now. never got any warm fuzzy feelings about them together..or (from him) like I did with some other couples on this show. I never felt like I watched a love story but more like a high school episode of a teen show or something. It felt like Jordan was the Bachelor and Jojo was a contestant. But hey good luck to them.

But don't Jo and Jordan own their home like K&S? I still think they may go a few years. Maybe by the 2 year mark. Which isn't that long IMO, the last Bette wedding was after a 20 month engagement.

Re: JoJo Fletcher - Jordan Rodgers - Bachelorette 12 - Discussion - #2
I'll just say this: The Bachelor/ETTE isn't a depiction of real life or a real relationship based off the way it's presented. It's an entertainment show first and foremost. That means there is reason to bring drama and gossip, that's what drums up interest. When you add in the fact that there's editing, manipulation, you only get engaged after 8 weeks, dating 20+ ppl, spending barely a week with the person you're getting engaged to, having to have tough conversations in that time frame, having lights/cameras/hundreds of ppl with you at all times, the media aspect of it all, etc....none of that is real life. For any of the contestants or couples IMO. Let's also throw in the fact that there was specifically really no drama on JoJo's season, because it was very obvious she was only into Jordan, therefore the show used Chad and Jordan as drama bait (cause it's always more fun to make the f1 look like a "villian", brings more talk and interest and investment in the show. And that's all the show cares about.) Lets also add in the fact that RS' big azz mouth likes to spread gossip, whether false or not, because that's his "job." Most of his info is actually only his opinion, but he likes to state basically everything as fact. Like the example I gave last night, where in reader emails he said there's absolutely no way in heck that JoJo would ever go back to flipping houses, when in reality she actually has gone back to flipping houses! I actually emailed him "please get your info right if you're going to give opinions" and he reapplied sarcastically "yes ma'am." He also got other info wrong, saying someone did something, when they didn't, and it was only based off of what fans told him (a different couple, so they're not relevant to name in this thread.) That was just yesterday. He does that kind of chit 24/7, and never thinks about the repercussions of his actions. The man is essentially good for nothing, but damaging ppl's reputations, because he spreads false/exaggerated info, because he picks and chooses what he wants to believe, and is too lazy to actually check stuff to make sure it's right. IMO. The real test of these bachelor/ETTE relationships is what is presented after the fact. That's when real life things start coming into play. House, family, friends, bills, dog, travel, farts, burps, quirks, etc. Everything that happens in a real relationship I can't imagine being with someone 24/7 if there wasn't an actual connection, that's just takes too much effort for nothing, if so. It's been 6 months out of the bachelor/ETTE world, and so far, so good. But it's best to judge how a relationship is doing when it's REAL (in the real world) than to judge it in a fantasy/fake world (the setting of a show like the bachelor/ETTE, for all the reasons I mentioned above.)
All IMO.
All IMO.

They did!! So bad example on my part But I still don't see them just waiting for nothing or not considering dates and logistics for timing to get married because I can't see Jo being happy without those things unlike some other women who don't care and it doesn't matter to them.bleuberry wrote:But don't Jo and Jordan own their home like K&S? Re: JoJo Fletcher - Jordan Rodgers - Bachelorette 12 - Discussion - #2
IMO sometimes it doesn't much matter what happened on the show because it's highly edited. However, post filming and how the couple live their lives is the true testament of who they are. If Jordan was sneaking around during filming, going out of his way to see JoJo, IMO that says a lot of how he felt at that time. Fast forward to today, and he has only intensified his actions towards JoJo and what she means to him, for example, picking her up and dropping her off, travelling to pick her up so they can fly somewhere else together, when it would have made sense for him to just fly by himself.
So for me, how he came across on my screen, means nothing, compared to the present day.
