JoJo Fletcher - Jordan Rodgers - Bachelorette 12 - Discussion - #2

She snaps all the time when she's with Becca (tbh Becca posts a crazy amount of snaps of/with her) but I don't think Katherine likes to be snapped. The last time Katherine was on her snap she kept ducking out of frame. I also think they're with her family a fair amount of time and almost never post it, because there's been a couple times they've been out and if it wasn't for fan sightings we'd never know. For example, their Christmas vacation with her parents. We might not like it but they seem to really pick and choose what they show of their lives on SM.

For me, it's the screeching and high pitched voice /OTTness when snapping with Jordan that grates. She did it all the time on her season with the men. I literally can't even . JMO.

I like her with girls and I chimed in a few pages back because that was the conversation. The outtake of her and Becca drinking wine and lifting probably 2lb weights was my fave.

^ Yup. They were in Mexico for a few days with her parents, I also think her brother Ben, right after Christmas and they literally shared nothing. Jordan actually didn't even use his phone for social media at all. No Twitter. No IG. No Snapchat. They have their priorities straight. IMO. They focus on each other, their families and their close friends.

^ Kathryn hates snap. She never likes the way she looks, and like you said, ducks out of frame.

I feel like she's similar with the girls too. Excited, loud, whatever else.

My fav outtake was the one where she spilled her drink on her dress, and said her "nipple was gonna get hard in a second."

That whole blooper reel was pretty much all JoJo, it was great IMO.

I just registered and decided to join. I've heard about this site from Bachelor Reddit and I've only ever heard good things.

Just got done finishing Jojo's season for the first time. I only saw the 1st 5 episodes when it originally aired and saw the finale live. I went back to rewatch the season as a whole. Overall I would give it a C-. I liked Jojo on Ben's season but her on her own season made me scratch my head. I'm not a fan of Jordan. On top of all the negative press surrounding him, he never looked like he was really into Jojo. I never saw a spark in his eye. I never saw him really attentive to her like she was to him. I just didn't feel it. The relationship always felt one-sided to me. I think the only time I felt like he actually liked her was episode 7, a week before hometowns. That date was really good I must admit.

When she first confronted him about his past relationship, the look on his face said it all. He was nervous and caught off guard. He looked guilty and you could tell he was mad at her for even bringing it up. I don't know what he thought would happen. This is a dating show. If you have so many skeletons in your closet then don't be surprised if you go on national tv and they get exposed. I didn't like that Jojo apologized. "are you mad at me'? That drove me crazy.

The final episode when he didn't asks for her parent's hand. I'm sorry but that excuse Jordan came up with, I didn't buy it. I really believe Jordan didn't ask because he just didn't want to. He didn't want to or come on this show to get engaged IMO. Their conversation in the cave, he couldn't even put together a full coherent sentence. IMO he wasn't looking for a relationship with her. He really came off as fake IMO.

Sad to say because like I said I really like Jojo. But I don't think she will marry Jordan and I just don't believe he wants to get married. Just based on what I saw. I admit they do look cute together on Instagram but we all know that that isn't a great indicator. IMO, I think Jordan likes Jojo enough to live with her but I also think he likes the perks of getting attention and shill money more. JMO.

@Melissawashere, welcome!!! I felt the same way for a long time watching the season despite hoping to be wrong because Jo was so, so in love and I wanted that happy ending for her.

^ There's a lot I disagree with in your post, but the last paragraph is a bit confusing to me. Jordan now works three jobs. Two of which he got/had before the bachelorette. He barely uses social media. He barely shills (plus even with the shilling, he doesn't need JoJo for that) because of the great jobs that he has, so he doesn't need to do it. He's stepped away from the franchise and doesn't involve himself with it whatsoever. He doesn't give interviews nor does he attend any sort of event that he would get to because of the show he was on.

These two for the past nine months have been one of the most quiet, low key couples from this franchise. As the people who have really followed them know, these two have spent more time with their families and close friends together than a lot of people do. Also, for a guy that's working so hard with his actual jobs, he's gone above and beyond to making JoJo the priority. I could list all of those things he's done out, but it would take me quite a while and I'm sure they can be found scattered in other threads.

What we see is subjective and not only that, but production shows us what they want us to see, but regardless, I personally loved his response to not being able to ask her dad. He was right. How could he ask her father for permission to marry his daughter, which according to him was one of the biggest moments of his life, when he didn't even know if he was the one JoJo wanted to be with and JoJo's father didn't even know who she was going to pick. That doesn't really make it special knowing her father would be giving his blessing to two guys, does it? Sure, it's what Jordan signed up for, but he's a practical and thoughtful guy, so I get it.

There seems to be a lot of people who changed their mind about him in the last nine months, so who knows I know you said you like JoJo, so it might be nice regardless of Jordan to check out the fan thread because anything relating to her that's positive goes in that thread as well.

This might be saved in the fan thread, but if not I can try to find it for you - Jordan's brother Luke, who JoJo has become close to as well as his girlfriend Airelle, gave a really awesome interview right after their finale in August and shared some behind the scenes details. We found out that Jordan snuck JoJo out to Chico, CA while the show was airing and she stayed with Jordan and his parents for about a week. Jordan even took the risk of wearing a wig, getting in an uber and heading to JoJo's hotel in LA while she was doing press for the show so he could spend a couple of days with her. Jordan really has seemed to do everything possible to make it work since the beginning IMO.

Welcome Melissawashere! I agree with Ash . At first I was bummed out by not proposing. I mean, Jordan had to have known that not proposing could have cost him the "win". So for me, this is the moment when Jordan stepped out of the Bach bubble and started to think of the moment as his real life. Yes, it's a competition and there are certain expectations, but at some point Jordan felt that he wanted this to play out like it would in real life too. And, an engagement being as special as it is for him, he wanted to do that just one time in his life. This is the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and 1) he didn't know if she felt the same and 2) it appeared, at least from the snippets we caught of his conversation with her parents, that her parents didn't fully trust that he would commit to her and love her for forever. I agree with him for not just playing along with "the game" and doing what is expected. A proposal/engagement should feel real and right, regardless of the scenario and I applaud him for treating it seriously.

I still stand by what I said. Even though production shows us what they want, you can still tell if when someone is into the lead. I never questioned Jojo's feelings(even though I thought she was a little OTT when it came to Jordan).  I don't expect these couples to fall in love on the show but I do expect some type of mutual attraction especially if you will be the F1. I did not see that. And a lot of America didn't either hence why there was a big outcry against Jordan. He didn't get a straight up villain edit but I felt like he was the overarching villain of the season besides Chad.

As far as shilling goes just because you have a job or jobs doesn't mean you won't want to make some easy money. He still chooses to shill. **IMO**

Sorry, I don't buy his explanation for not wanting to ask. Robby didn't know if Jojo was going to pick him either but he still asked and he still put in more effort. Jordan saying that asking the parents for permission was a big thing for him but I don't think he really meant for the question to be to Jojo's parents. I don't believe he thought Jojo wasn't going to pick him either. I believe he just didn't want to do it. Jordan is a smart guy, he knows how this show works. I'm pretty sure he did his research before coming on here. JMO.

I can't help but not believe the words that come out of his mouth. He came off like a politician. A robot and a player. I don't think he got all that negative press for nothing. Not one ex gf or fling had anything positive to say. Very telling IMO. And I don't believe Jordan still doesn't have a wandering eye for other women. I dont think you change from your player ways overnight But again JMO.

Maybe Jojo is the one. Maybe not. Its still early in the relationship. We shall see. JMO.
