That was a great interview I love the family outlook on the whole situation.

I just have a feeling, this season will be a trainwreck. I liked Nick on BIP. But looking back and reading through articles from his other seasons and what happened with him, I was reminded of that stuff. Kaitlin's season was basically about Nick and Shawn fighting. And Andi's season, the other guys hated him. So yea. I think it will be similar to Kaitlyn's/Ben F's seasons. I hope I'm wrong. But I still just keep thinking, why is this guy getting on this show so many times. I'm tired of him and it seems so fake. Wish it was Luke tbh.

As Nick said, for more punishment or something like that.  TPTB choose to keep inviting him, and he chooses to keep accepting. They must not be tired of him yet. Plus he's entertaining. Imo

His season will be like all the others. Parts will be trainwrecky. Some people will ship the couple, some people will hate them. He'll have a F2 or F3 that he lets go that everyone loves and some people will be pissed. That chick will likely become the 'ette. Nick and F1 will either last or they (likely) won't. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I'm so glad he got the gig, personally. But I also like the repeat heavy weight characters and the on going soap opera-ness of this show. I might be in the minority there. Also, Luke bored me to tears, and I've always kinda dug Nick. I liked him through the villian Andi years, through TOG Kairlyn years, and now on BIP. He's good tv.

IMO, he makes good television because who doesn't want to see a 36 year old man prance around on television with a bunch of twenty-something year olds on his fourth reality television show with the same franchise. It will be hilarious to watch.

Ash. When we agree, all is right  The best part is that he's basically in on being a joke and he's okay with it because he's just that obsessed with fame and being a reality tv character imo. Fine by me!! Dance, monkey.

Yea I think he keeps saying he's "nervous" because he knows they picked him because he WILL be a trainwreck...and will prob make him look bad. So many Bachelor's end up hated.

I am an anomaly because I was ardently all about Nick on Andi's and Kaitlyn's season's and totally on team Nick until late last year. I am a skeptic now. I believe Nick wants to find his idealized woman....but I don't see him as being in a place in his life where he is really open or ready for that. I see Nick as a bit lost these days. That's my read. I am concerned about how natural can Nick be on his Bachelor gig because he knows all the behind the scenes manipulations? Nick is smart so he won't be easily played but I do think he will be a willing Puppet. I hope Nick gets what he wants from the gig. From my POV....I want a funny, entertaining season that is full of laughs and not OTT trashy. I know this season will be very scripted....but please please bring the laughs.

I enjoy the Viall family so seeing them again will be nice. I find it amusingly ironic that I was all Nick Nick Nick when he was the outcast and would have done cartwheels for him to be the Bachelor last year...but now that it a truism....I am Meh.
