Bachelor 21 - Nick Viall - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #2

im excited to see Bella (now is a growing teenager..) grilling the F2 girls... .Her Qn A with Andi was adorable back then. I kinda wish she makes a list of endearing questions ala Eve (of Snez) and make the F2 girls run for their money

Do you think the whole Viall family will be involved this time again? I know that they all love and support Nick. But I really wonder what they think of all of his reality tv appearances. And will the show go back to Milwaukee? Or maybe go to Chicago or LA to mix it up a little?

^ Nick's family seem very supportive already based on their SM (IG) posts and likes (they have liked all the posts about Nick as the Bachelor on IG and also posted about him on their own respective IG accounts). If not already posted in the SM thread, I can post there some of the links and pics liked unless someone else is able to do so (TIA if so).

Y'know, I wonder if the reason they have multiple people isn't just about playing games with fans and stuff. You have to figure they do a bunch of filming, some interviewing, talk to the person and see if they can handle the show; but also watch back the tape and see if it will make interesting TV. I wonder if some of the people that haven't been chosen as the lead have "failed" the screen test part. Like, they were just too boring / awkward on film, or wouldn't play along, or other stuff.

(Not to say that the screen tests have been perfect... Chris S. / Ben F. were pretty awful as were some of the guys pre-recycle, but that's not to say everyone else wasn't worse.....)

Ugh Ashley I tweeted she wants to get Victoria Justice on Nicks season ! Lol She's 23, and a successful actress yea right like she'd want to marry Nick! Ashley is so dumb.

I will seriously puke if I have to watch Nick drool over any 23 year olds.

And I just kinda answered my own question with the following video clip of Nick's sister Maria in a segment on the local news channel in Wilwaukee from earlier this morning. She also talks about how surprised Nick was to be asked, that he wasn't campaigning at all and he just found out recently.

Starts talking about Nick around 6:20 - otherwise lots of stuff about a fiber filled diet as Maria is a nutritionist.

I think it's so great that Nick was surprised and asked to be the Bachelor and I truly believe he was surprised and the whole Viall family was. He's really been through the ringer and so lovely to see his sister talking about him and so supportive as they always have been. Too cute about how they could potentially have a new sister-in-law

I really like Maria. They did that interview together a while back on her show- and both were really sweet together & can see how close they are. She seems really level headed too and able to give good advice to him. I don't doubt for a second how it was a total surprise for Nick to be asked. You can tell based on how he is on after paradise & everyone else's surprise when they come on at the end - Ashley & Jared who he is close to clearly taken by surprise. I hope the family are tough on the F2 as they hv been too nice before imo. Perhaps whole family will fly to wherever the final dates are- all 500 of them! Fake spoiler- Bella overheard on plane home snap chatting how she will be bridesmaid. #TeamNickFindsTheOne

haha I wonder how Juan Pablo did on his screen tests, I wonder if they knew how wooden and awful he was gonna be in advance but did it anyway! But you raise a good point on Nick - as he's had two years of a screen test and so much drama and a slow burn of public support - as I call it! Familiarity with him is great for viewers and I think people will tune in thinking they hate him but will come round to liking him in the end. All imo.

Talking about the TPTB deal for the Bach lead ... well ... it's BUSINESS. What else is new?

When an investor wants to build something ... they get offers first ... they give the contractors the contract to sign ... but until the investor doesn't sign ... the deal is not secured ... since there's always a chance a better offer comes through.
Sometimes people start to work before the contract has been signed because they want to hit the deadline or the material needs longer period of shipping ... and they do it in the good faith, believing the promises ... and more often than not, the world of promises (where paper matters - money included) has no bearing. That's the capitalistic world we live in.

Love ... that's just a sticker on a rear window. Baby on board.
