MAFS - Season 4 - Derek Schwartz - Heather Seidel

^^ I think most of us have moved away from this couple, and I wish MAFS would follow suit. However, I suspect something about them will be included in every episode until the bitter end.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops along with what happens once the season is completed. I'm sure Heather smiling as he walks in the door is out of context but it's one of the few times I've seen her smile. So, I want to know what she's smiling at.

ETA: wow, Derek and Sonia are having fun on twitter. They had a rap battle.

I'm not in favor of Derek & Sonia as a couple. He can be a jerk at times and that wouldn't work with her sensitivity imo.

I've noticed that some think that Heather got in this wanting someone really good looking who has money. I don't see that because she had to know that those are the kinds who do the show. I don't think she wrote him off at the wedding. Her being uncomfortable with the photos was normal and he was a little too cuddly for her but think she still had an open mind at that point. Oh well, it doesn't matter now. All JMO.

I agree. IMO, it was the drama on the honeymoon. I believe her when she told Dr. Pepper that it was the fighting and the comments.

You're so right, , I don't think I have ever seen her smile either.  

Thanks for the heads up on Derek and Sonia's twitter feed, I'll have to go check it out.  I think it would be cool if something happened there.... at least they got to know each other in the real world, so whatever works.

ETA; after going through their twitter feed, I wouldn't be surprised if there's something going on between these two.

Derek and Sonia do have fame whoring in common and sounds as if they're really working it for the super fans. Good for them ..

IMO Sonia and Derek are two that accepted the experiment and wanted to do their best to make it work, unlike Heather and Nick. If they end up dating, I say good for them. What's the harm in determining if there is an interest.

They are having fun on twitter, maybe they have become good friends. I'm not sure how much fame twitter bantering is going to get them. IMO That isn't the route I'd take to try and become famous.

I totally disagree.. Derek never brought up his side gig. People dug it up to discredit him and it kind of backfired. If he was a famewhore, he would be rapping on every episode. Should we discredit everyone with a hobby? I don't see their innocent banter as famewhore. I think they are trying to cool the heat from Nick's mishaps. IMO

He doesn't chose the final edit of the episodes. And ultimately we only see each couple for a short amount of time each episode. IMO he does appear keen on playing the media game which is why he gave so many interviews and makes various statements on social media. Many of those interviews contained questionable statements, IMO.

So you think he was rapping and the producers supposingly cut it out? Even his confession videos!!! {Laughs} Lol.. When people are ready to believe the worst about someone, he never does right. IMO

Which media game is he playing? Didn't David give twice as much interview as Derek did and David's marriage didnt end until six weeks. Aren't Tom and Lillian also writing for people magazine every week? IMO
