Richie is like gazing into her soul he looks so interested and focused! Love their chemistry it's so beautiful. Also anyone else watch the insider 4 I think? Richie and Olena were dying of laughter together haha it was so cute and funny! I adore them 2 together ❤️

As just stated elsewhere, I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster ride just watching. I love Richie and Olena together. Agree the Insider 4 was insightful as showed a fun side to their relationship. I thought on SD2 they both seemed genuinely very happy. I don't see her age or lack of relationship experience as a problem as she has so many other wonderful qualities. If Olena is not F1 I will be extremely disappointed after seeing this SD and would not like to be the actual F1 after viewing this date either.

I agree. It´s not about relationship experience or age difference. It´s about maturity, it`s about how your parents raised you, it`s about what values are important to you. She immigrated to Australia at the age of 9, has lived in Milan and Korea for her modeling career and set up her own business, all of that would make you grow up very quickly. She is actually more worldly and mature than most of the girls in the mansion and has her stuff together more than most 40 year olds I know.

Plus let us remember Anna from Tim`s season. She was never in a serious relationship before Tim. And we see it worked for them nonetheless.

About the usual portray by TPTB: F1 gets superficial edit, usually shown strong physical attraction, great chemistry, lots of contact but little emotional/mental connection.
F2 is shown as having that mental/intellectual/emotional connection stronger. Usually it shows more of their conversations and "reasons" why they are so "perfect for each other".
It's basically they persuade you to believe that F2 has a better chance although F1 is always strong ... but with that one "doubt" story ...
in this case could be whether Olena will ever open and let herself be vulnerable to fall in love.
Either way it's very interesting how they play the arc ...

She had her first 1on1 in the second episode.
Based on what you wrote I´m getting the vibe like they want us to believe that Nikki is kinda like his "soulmate" and is right for him on the paper. Like the same social circle, they are living in the same area, the right age difference. Where else Olena is like this attraction, she is beautiful but too young, too guarded, lives in Sydney, Ukrainian background. And she had a very slim portion of screen time till now.

wow, yes, 2nd episode, I skipped through it a lot, so I didn't pay attention ... but boy, I could see a difference, with Nikki there were moments of "silence", the conversation wasn't floating but neither was physical attraction, he was complimentary to her and she to him, but I didn't see that "chemistry" although she was right on a train for him ...
whether with Olena he was really into her, now that I've watched, the moment that really impresses me when he puts her hair behind her ear ... it's one of many moments when he is watching her with such an adoration and completely smitten. Also, that "chemistry" of feeling good in each others' presence and being comfortable even in the awkward situations is in the moment when he invites her to see his room at his Bach-house and she makes fun of him for speeding up, but they both laugh about it and it just showed how Richie isn't much of a player with girls, but maybe that's just what Olena needs to let go of her fears.

Anyway, another thing that comes to mind about the usual dates with F1 is that often they get one in the vineyard or in some amazing outdoor place ... romantic ... and Olena got one this time for the 1st kiss.
So I'm saying it's her. But I have yet to see all the rest of the episodes.

My take from previous seasons is that the "typical" F1 is the one that the lead appears to chase yet somehow continue to have doubts about. The doubt could be the F1 is too good to be true, putting up walls that is shown to frustrate the lead; not opening up as time is running out (, it's the final countdown)
The dates for the F1, again typical from my memory are those that allow the lead to spend time away from others mostly secluded dates and not too adventurous. 
Usually the F1 is given a favorable edit but there are a few exceptions to that rule based on other F1 who displayed very outrageous and outspoken personalities.

I think Richie is chasing Nikki the most based on the edit so far: first out limo and the music (also shown in promo just before Richie says he could find the one he spends the rest of his life with); the girls saying in first episode when Richie is chatting to Nikki "Do you really want her to win" and to break up their romance; Richie being shown taking Nikki away at almost all CPs, too, as well as SM with Nikki the quotes are more from Richie than Nikki (whereas it's the other way around with most of the other frontunners) and the same thing happened with Sasha/Sam and Snez/Sam (quotes on SM were used from the lead's perspective for the F1).

Olena is definitely a dark horse though and things could change (it seems in this past episode Richie is chasing her too) but I will be surprised if Nikki is not F1. Their first date to me had that awkwardness that I saw with Art and Matty on their 2nd date (even Matilda did a lot of taking the lead a bit with Art as well letting him know first how much she was there for him). I see a similar thing happening with Richie and Nikki and think their connection has the most progression so far so will be interesting to see if anyone catches up to that?

I actually didn't see a good chemistry between Richie and Nikki on the 1st date, it was rather awkward but without moving forward and finding that "comfort" that usually means "recognizing each other" as the one ... haven't seen the rest in between ... but noticing today the difference between his date with Olena and then the 2nd date with Olena showing even bigger step forward in their connection, I can't imagine Nikki to be F1.

Agree @AAL. I can see this too. I see a longer lasting attraction with Nikki. Something deeper, more settled and connected. That said there is no doubting that Richie is struck with Olena, he was almost giddy, like a school boy, I think he respects her but it's different to Nikki. It's had to put into words but there is a certain comfort between Nikki and Richie that I don't see with anyone else. The edit is supporting this too. I think Olena is going to struggle to break down those walls (just like Rochelle) Faith is going to be friend zoned (aka Heather) and Alex is going down the lines of Ali and Jess IMO.

I agree. This is exactly how I can can see it playing out.
