Josh Murray - BIP - Famously Single - Season 3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I don't blame him for being upset but when your vindictive ex writes a tell all book about how you have a temper and were emotionally abusive to her then you need to be careful how you react to conflict on TV. With that said I also still see good in him even with his share of problems while I've never been able to find one thing likable or redeeming about her. I am really disappointed he let himself fall into TPTB's trap and that he gave them the result they wanted and I feel he only has himself to blame for that one. I hope he takes responsibility for how he reacted and doesn't blame TPTB, Andi, Nick, the twins or whomever else was part of that drama. What's done is done on the show and there's no way he can come out of it smelling like roses after validating what Andi said in her book but he can choose how he's going to handle that situation now. Own it and then move on and focus on your relationship with Amanda because that's the only thing that matters now. I do think he's sincere and genuine in wanting a real relationship with her and I hope he can make that work.

This is the guy who was on Famously Single. Why should we believe he wants a real relationship? I'll believe it when/if it happens.

"The Tuesday, July 12, episode started off with former Bachelorette winner Josh Murray looking at photos of hot girls on Instagram. Aubrey O’Day immediately slammed him, saying, “Josh doesn’t even know what he wants.” She then explained to the former baseball player, “All of these photos are severely edited.”

The episode wrapped up with everyone’s favorite shallow reality TV hunk finally learning that looks don’t matter. Indeed, Josh decided he wanted to go out with a girl from the exercise, even though he hadn’t seen what she looked like. And guess what?! She turned out to be smokin’ hot. So … lesson learned? Maybe?"

Now I feel like Josh jumped right into BIP after famously single to prove a point, that he is not a "box of rocks" and is able to get past his obsession with 20 something year old blonde models, to being engaged and committed to a 25 year old blonde insta model but better who has two young kids and makes him an instant dad..... Progress!!

It doesn't sound like many of you actually watch Famously Single. You should. I actually love it for reasons beyond Josh being on it. There is some interesting insight on dating and relationships in their group discussions with Dr. Darcy and some of their "exercises" are pretty entertaining. And what the recap didn't say was that Josh sees a woman's looks first (not unlike most men) but it goes much deeper than that for him and that he also really wants to find his best friend. Dr. Darcy was concerned he might miss some good candidates if they didn't pass his looks test first. She's making progress with him though.

Watch the show. It's good.

I haven't watch last night's episode yet but I actually like the show too. I think it's less trashy than BiP. Last week with the blind dates was entertaining to watch. I cracked up at the things Brandi had Josh say to his date.

Is this a fact that he wanted to go on the ette for JoJo or this just tabloid news ? I really think he wants a wife and a family but that is just my opinion .

I believe it was a direct quote from an interview he did basically saying he reached out but couldn't be on another network while Famously Single was airing, it was discussed in his thread.

It is a good show and Dr. Darcy does push the cast to their best potential.  They talked alot about Josh last night and how he feels the need to be attracted to the woman first.  So Dr. Darcy had the cast blind folded at a party where they had to meet and mingle with people they couldn't see, then gave the option of the cast member going out on a date with them.   Josh seems like he is doing well, listening to wise counseling and trying to put it in practice.  That said, I then think about BIP and the outcome and wonder if he forgot every thing he learned.

To be fair to Josh (as if he needs it) was there a lot of quality, older, mature women to choose from in Paradise? Wasn't the cast mostly Ben's very young cast offs? Who would have been a better fit for him if he wasn't looking for just a young, beautiful blonde?
