^^I know, veg! It seems like the BachandB'Ette Spoilers Fans' Café was all out of Chocolate Lava Cake tonight. I must demand a fresh restocking of the ingredients tomorrow before I ruin my appetite.

I've been studying thumbs, shoulders and comparative heights to JoJo of our F3 guys tonight. I'm still so confused. I need some thumb shots of Robby before I have anything conclusive. Does anyone remember? Did Robby ever read a date card?

Here I think JoJo is talking about wanting Jordan to be this. Also on the Falling Rock date, only Robby and Jordan of the final 4 were on that date, which may or may not mean anything.

You guys have it all wrong,  Luke will be riding in at F1 to save the day on his magical cowboy unicorn, mark my words! :Bubba: We need a cowboy riding a unicorn emoji!

As to Chase vs Derek and the emotion there, I really think it was over letting Derek go. I've said before during RC's Jojo always had her favs in the top 6...Derek was there also, he was always within top 5. Why did Derek feel so confident, I think he had a reason. Just maybe she let Derek go because she had stronger feelings for him than Chase. Just a thought.

Litta, there's been laughter between L&J, you can see where they start to, then they cut it off. They've edited all the guys to be who they want us to think they are to fit their storyline.

As to the passion Jojo wants, who is the one that was mentioned in her blog with that particular word in caps? And what was said about the other guys?

I have listed all conversations of jojo and robby and vo pertaining to robby specifically thru epi 5. Anything robby said itm or vo i ommitted. I was focusing only on what jojo said or said directly to robby.

It was eye opening. Im got to hit the hay now, but tomorrow i will try to finish up epi 6 (ougt to be quick, they hardly spoke!) then search for matches between vegouts jojo quote in other thread. What she is looking for in a man....

I'll propose an exercise that might be interesting.

What are the ways that you see either your favorite guy or all four guys leaving? I know that we've been trying to make the case for the reasons that someone is the F1. It might be interesting to trace their stories and predict the possible outcome that they are cut. What would be the reasons that JoJo would let them go?

Reasons why he gets eliminated....

Luke...Jojo doesn't like his muscian lifestyle- traveling, groupies, uncertainty of success. She is looking for someone with a more traditional job and lifestyle.

Chase...because he has been slow to open up, he will fall behind. Because he hasn't professed his love soon enough she doesnt feel secure enough in his feelings, because of this she will be too nervous to keep him

Jordan...even though he tells her all the things she wants to hear after she confronts him for the 20th time about some doubt or red flag, she will finally listen to both her gut and her brain and send him home.

Robby...well, you know i think he gets the girl, but i will play along...after Jojo's watchdog brothers water board him on MTP date, They tell her that they like Jordan better for her. Jordan has given them all the right answers. With the advice of the brothers she sends Robby home.

Jordan - the hot and heavy flame slowly diminishes. JoJo can't fully give her heart to him out of fear and mistrust

Robby - the emotional bond hasn't fully formed and caught up with the physical. Mistrust over the GF allegations

Chase - he doesn't open up fully or to the extent that JoJo feels satisfied. The physical chemistry is not as strong as the emotional bond. Feelings for Jordan over ride taking him to F2. He's been painted as this season's antagonist (if JoJo chooses Robby or Jordan)

Luke - JoJo confuses love and lust. She thinks it's lust with Luke but it could be love. She has trouble distinguishing the two. She cuts him at F4 to spare Jordan's feelings.

I've been thinking: At the end of Chris' episode 6 blog, he says, "She needed more time with these men before ruling any out as her husband. This obviously will only make things more difficult next week, but as we know by now, JoJo is not afraid of tough choices."

I'll be interested to see if this statement plays out in the upcoming episodes. What would be tough choices?

Something else: I watched JoJo's HTD a few days ago to pick up on themes and her family dynamic. Similar to Jordan and Chase, JoJo had a hard time letting her guard down. She just had when her brothers urged her to be cautious; that they saw an imbalance in Ben's affection vs. hers. It makes me curious if JoJo will have patience for Jordan and Chase as they try to articulate their feelings and build intimacy with her.

More importantly, though, I was looking at her brothers and dad. Her brothers are fiercely protective of her, and one of them pushed hard against Ben regarding his intentions. Her dad, whom Jo is very close to, also seems super protective, even-keeled, and perceptive. I think that she is looking for a man who bear resemblance to the men in her life who love her dearly and look out for her. The MTPs will likely be a hoot or a mess. I fully expect the opinions of her family to heavily weigh on her.

Next week, we should get more previews for the rest of her season. It still feels like so much is going to happen between HTDs and the FRC that could spin this ship in some way.

I was thinking about rewatching Jojo's HTD with Ben, too. Did you use a specific link to that? I'm so afraid that if I go searching for it I will stumble into something that will spoil me. I no longer have it recorded inmy dvr.

Regarding what you said about her brothers and dad.  My recollection of her brothers is that they were OTT when welcoming her (to the point of awkwardness) and very suspicious of Ben and they didn't let up on him (again to the point of awkwardness). My impression of her mom was that she was a softy (like Jojo), and her father seemed level headed and polite. I really want to watch it again.

As for quote in CH blog....sounds like a foreshadowing to me....she keeps Jordan longer than she should but in the end she makes her tough choice to let him go.

Well if JoJo's brothers were so hard on Ben, can you imagine how they might be with Jordan? Then again, they may overlook it as he may be "one of them" in terms of same social status etc.

Thanks so much, Veg. I rewatched them and I think that the brothers are like Jojo's pitbull protectors. I am really hoping that the brothers are there for the MTP date with the final 2. If something doesn't pass the sniff test, those brothers will find out.

I don't think Jojo's family will like any one of the guys any more if they think he is wealthy or 'celebrity'. Jojo's mom and dad got what they have through dedication, sacrifice, higher education, and hard work. I don't think they have $$ in their eyes and, unlike another B'ette family, I don't think they will be that impressed by who somebody's brother is. I think they are all going to have their finger on the pulse to figure out who is most trustworthy and loyal to Jojo.

IF the family goes gaga over a guy because of his wealth or fame, then I would guess Jojo will do likewise. In that case, I think she would pick Jordan. But I don't see it ending that way.
