Great interview. Very real. Loved how they addressed the conversation in the Home Depot parking lot! I hope they just keep being real. And really in love. <3

What a great interview! Did they ever take calls on air from people? The host asked them if they would and then was telling people to call in but that never got posted. Just wondering if that is floating around somewhere and I missed it. Love that they were fighting about paint colors during that infamous Home Depot debacle, haha. Who doesn't fight with their partner at those home stores? laugh out loud

Other thoughts: he said he knew it was Lauren in the fantasy suite when they were under the stars drinking tecquila and talking about life. It was his most real moment on the whole show. **edited** And they alluded to California for the wedding because "Lauren likes sunshine." So if they get married in the winter, it will be in Cali. Obviously alluding to a televised wedding in that case, again, IMO. They said they are open to other opportunities on television if it's the right opportunity, no drama. And they confirm d Lauren is still with Alaska Airlines, and Ben is back at work full time. Also, they got the number of couples married wrong. Ben said 3. It's 5. Hugesmile

That was such a great interview. I hope they do this often like once in 3 months. It's nice to hear them laugh together and I particularly enjoyed the Dancing with the Stars part. Ben really thinks he's a good dancer! And I love that what they were really fighting about was paint colors! Cutie pies. My only wish is one of us diehard fans here were awake or aware of this interview so we can ask the gazillion questions we needed answers like where are the wings Lauren gave you, Ben??? haha

Do you think Lauren gave a hint of a TV wedding? She said she wanted it to be sunny and if it's in Dec or Jan it would be in Calif because it's always sunny. The TV weddings are usually in Dec or Jan and in Cali.

Would they already be in the talks for a tv wedding? They sounded open for other reality shows, but nothing dramatic.

I liked how Lauren said, that it's humbling when she has this 'fame' she didn't earn. It's not for any talent, but for appearing on reality tv show.
I also like how much they appreciate the franchise and are fans, appreciative of everything it's brought them. They realise they have been treated really well by the show.

I thought they were most definitely hinting at it. A winter wedding in Cali because "Lauren likes the sunshine" is code for "on TV." laugh out loud

Plus they flat out said they'd be open to it.

ETA: fingersandtoes I doubt they have had serious talks with the network for a wedding yet. Historically, if they do it on TV, it will all happen very fast. They likely wouldn't sign a contract until the fall, and then the wedding would happen shortly thereafter. When Ben mentioned in the beginning that they don't have a date yet, it's complicated, it's because the TV aspect makes it complicated for them. They either start planning on their own now for sometime next year like most people, or they do nothing and bank on a TV offer. Lots of moving parts for them.
