I just love Lauren's dad.  I thought he was great on the show.  The interview in the Portland paper about Ben calling him and him asking Ben to call him when he knew Lauren was the one was awesome.  I liked him asking Ben how he was doing during Lauren's HTD and they way he urged her to be cautious even though she thought she loved him and at the same time he was supportive.  Lauren says he is kind and sensitive and she wanted to find someone just like her dad.  It's amazing to me that her parents went to Indiana and stayed with Ben's parents in support of their daughter.  Looking at this picture, I think Mr. Bushnell and Ben have a similar look.

I wonder if her dad has had the conversation with her that my dad had with me before I got married.  My fiance owned a house that really needed some fixing up.  My dad cautioned me to respect the house that he owned and was proud of and not to go in and make too many changes.  I can really see Mr. Bushnell and Lauren having that conversation.

Good thing the Blazers won. As a diehard football (or well, soccer, as it's known in the US) fan myself, I know I get in a horrible mood when my team loses, so I'm glad for Ben's sake
