I think the surprise is that JoJo will be the Bachelorette. Maybe it is a surprise to Ben.

I don't think it will be a wedding at the ATFR and I hope it's not. Frankly as much as TPTB would love it, to me it just cheapens their love story. What couple would want a thrown together wedding especially with how emotional the entire finale and ATFR seem to be? I honestly thought the Marcus and Lacey beach wedding was ridiculous and done for money and ratings and not very romantic.

I wish proposals didn't come at the end of the show. We have come to expect them but they aren't realistic. It would be more believable to commit to each other and give their relationship time to develop out of the shows bubble. They haven't had a chance to really be a couple yet out in public, why not enjoy each other and have a wonderful engagement period and plan the beautiful wedding of their dreams. After all they have been through they deserve that.

Announce that JoJo is the 'ette (most of us will be thrilled) and give Ben and Lauren a two week vacation to Dublin, Ireland. That will be as much excitement as we can handle after the roller coaster ride the finale and ATFR look like they're going to be.

Why Ireland? Surely Ben got sick of that place already last year.

Maybe the surprise or the trick out CH's sleeve will be Ben and Lauren will be given more than 5 minutes of airtime on the ATFR and TPTB will throw them an engagement party instead of spending most of the ATFR on the drama and JoJo.  I know that would Surprise me.

I think that CH plans to surprise Ben by having him face Jojo's brother at the ATFR. Jmo

Me too.

IMO, the brothers will have plenty of time to make appearances next season, so they just need to sit, play nice and be quiet, if in the audience, and let Lauren and Ben and even Jojo have their time to shine.

Personally, I don't need or want to hear from them again, period, but especially not during the time we get to see the happy couple together or hear from Jojo how she's moved on, is ready for love again and see her named 'Ette.  JMO.

No way on Jo'sbros. Now that she has gotten her gig, it would be counter productive for them to harass Ben any further. Besides, they were right. Their read was that Ben wasn't as into Jo as she was. It didn't mean Ben didn't fall for Jojo. It just means he didn't fall as deeply for her as she fell for him . That's the whole premise of this show, there needs to be an F1 and an F2 reject. There might have been variations of no one being picked ala Brad1.0 , or a switcheroo. But not this season with Ben. He found an F1 and had to reject his F2.
Maybe the surprise is Jo'sbros taking charm school and etiquette classes because after all, they'll be having more cams and guests for dinner soon. Oh, and Jo's mom? Use a glass .

I personally don't see how they could have the brothers confront Ben about brainwashing or leading on JoJo, then turn around and announce her as next lead..... where she will lead guys on to get a final 4 and final 2.

I'm expecting JoJo to put on a show that she believes Ben was genuine, watching back she saw connection with Lauren was stronger, the experience taught her to let her walls down and fall, she now knows process can work.... yada, yada, usual Bach speak.
