The last word Ben says in the line "I'm sitting here on a bathroom floor ... and ... hey ..." is "hey" and I seem to remember him saying that exact word with the same inflection to someone already in the season. It would be pretty easy to take that one word and re-use it in another scene.

This kind of "possible" manipulation makes this scripted TV not reality TV. I watch this show, for the real moments. I admit I also watch it for the love story, or the fantasy of one. I appreciated so much of what you wrote earlier @Lucas15, of why you started watching the show. I do wish they would keep it more real. They sure have created angst this season.

there was insider info on some one 's ig about timing of frc.. then deleted immediately afterwards.. at first never believed because i was skeptical .. jojo was in new jersey and ben was in new york in same week..  during 3rd episode jojo was in LA ..  ben was missing from live show and lauren was in cabo.. posts by jojo was making me confuse.. but one i looked at promo i saw light is not coming from window of helicopter..sun was up .. light was on ground .. on joj's time period.. and light was coming through window  .. on lolo 's time period..

in 1st preview of season there are words of proposal .. scary, amazing, real, incredible
ben uses incredible word referencing to lauren even in wta he said it again

jojo's time = 11:30
lolo's time = around 5:00

Regarding Ben's mom "picking" JoJo..... It could very well be her responding to the question: "Who do you believe Ben should say goodbye to?"  It wouldn't surprise me if they  questioned her different ways, with different wording, until they got her to say what they wanted her to say.

there is rule .. one parent defends and other is against to keep mystery.. ben's  dad will play major part at lauren's time.. that would be stunning one

^ or comparing to Emily if those are the only 2 she's met at that point. At first i thought Emily was brought up here as a joke but now i actually think its a possibility that was who Mama Higgins was deciding between. IMO

I just went back and re-watched the clip with Ben's Mom and unless there is a mix and match edit. She is picking for Ben, not picking who to send home. I just wanted to correct that post I made earlier.

This is a good point.  Would explain her being emotional thinking of Ben having to let one of the girls down. That is the type of stuff that I believe is typical of TPTB and it makes a lot sense that could be what happened.

Re the Bathroom conversation, interesting opinions all around, but I think it was what it seems and Ben spoke very lovingly and caringly to an upset Jojo.  I don't believe the producers manufactured or manipulated that conversation, at least prior to seeing the whole scene.   I do think Ben would not have expected it to be aired because it's off camera, but for drama, they're airing the audio.  Similar (but very different obviously too) to what they did to Kaitlyn and Nick. Off camera doesn't mean off the record anymore.  But that's as far the production interference in that scene probably goes, IMO. Some things that are shown actually did happen, even if it's with an F2 IMO. But if the lead gives the producers something juicy to get people talking, even if it's off camera on a bathroom floor, of course they're going to use it. JMO

I don't see why she would be comparing her possible future daughter-in-law to a girl who was sent home weeks ago. What would be the point of that?
