JP has lived in NYC for so many years it has to be hard to leave. First he gives up his apartment of seven years now this and now this within a year. That's a lot of sacrifice and can't be easy. I hope Ashley realizes how lucky she is to have someone willing to do all of that for her. If I had someone like that I would never let him go. I hope Emily finds one like him.

Hmmm...Ashley says they know the marriage is going to come up within the next year. Makes me wonder if an televised wedding is in the works and the date just hasn't quite pin down. Maybe the wedding will happen in Npvember or December and will be televised as the lead in to the Bachelor or a January/Feburary wedding at the end of the AFTR the final rose.

I think if they get married and if it is to be televised, November would not be practical because they do not have that time period set aside for them, Dancing with the Stars gets that time. Plus they have said they want it to be in NY. Gets too cold during that time. Same with Jan/Feb. She also said she wants to be married by Valentines day. It sounds like summer or early fall. But that's just a guess on my part.

I was just thinking that they could get married in November and it would be televised after the actual wedding date. If there was an outdoor wedding in NY in early November the high usually is in the mid 50's to lower 60's. However no one says it has to be outdoors. I know Ashley had mention the Hamptons at one time but if Fleiss and company are paying for it why not go somewhere where it is a little warmer.

I think, based on the look they gave each other, that they have an idea of when it will be and the only reason that they aren't sure is because TPTB are in on the planning and no set date has been announced. JMO I think that if they admitted that they had a date in mind they would be hounded with people trying to find out when/where and how! Easier just to say you don't have anything set and for people to give you a little bit of space and privacy-- which they should have for as long as they can. Once the network announces the plans things will go pretty quick, I would suspect. Can't wait!! :missclap:

I'm with you on this one, Archer. There's no way they've "kind of started planning" without having set a date first. They're definitely keeping secrets.

Ahh, I loved this interview. It's always great to see pictures of them but even better to see them interacting in real life. Such a cute pair.

My 14-year-old daughter was watching the interview and when it was finished she said wistfully, "I want to go to their wedding." And then I had the BEST idea. Ashley and JP could raffle off an invitation to the wedding! giggling

They could sell tickets and have a draw, and all the proceeds would go to their favourite charity. I really, really think they should do it. (And then I'll take out a second mortgage and buy all the tickets. Think the husband would notice or mind?) :awesome:

Not a wedding but at least you would be able to harass Ashley and torture her for wedding deets.

Also, upon rewatching that interview this morning, I noticed JP saying "life happens" in a no-bid-deal-way when they were talking about moving. I can see why Little Miss Type A Ashley (read: inch away from psycho giggling

) would find him so comforting and relaxing- life happens, it's okay, they'll work through it and there's no need for a Bentley meltdown/hiding under the covers and wailing situation every day. :P
