Not to mention, what exactly can you plan without a date in place first? You couldn't book a venue, caterer, officiant, entertainment, etc. You could pick your attendants, but without a date, there'd be no way to ensure that your attendants would keep the date open so they can actually attend. Everyone knows that when you start planning your wedding, the date is the starting point because it affects almost all the rest of your planning. So yeah, not buying it. I'm sure they haven't set a date the same way Jason and Molly said they hadn't chosen a date three months before they actually got married.

I did not follow them. Did they actually start planning a wedding? Does anyone remember how Ali and Roberto answered this question when they were planning and had arranged a date with ABC before they postponed it?

OAT, Ashley tweeted about twenty minutes ago that she would be on Ryan Seacrest. I can not listen right now, at work. Can anyone else listen and tell what she said?

Ryan asked her if they had a date set and she said there could be some news soon. And, he asked if the wedding would be televised. Ashley said "Perhaps" and she asked Ryan if he wanted to come. They talked about the purse giveaway. They are going to have Ryan P, JP, and a few of the other bachelors modeling clothes. None of this is word for word.

I only saw her on Rachael Ray and she wa vague to any type of wedding details - she wouldn't even say if it was going to be televised (and frankly I can't remember when she did this interview). I do remember hearing (somehow) that a wedding was planned for last summer - but that was it, nothing concrete on date/venue/televised/non-televised, but I assume it would've been televised, but that announcement would have to come from ABC, not Ali/Roberto.

I do believe when it was announced that it had been postponed that it was mentioned that it was supposed to be televised and they would have to work with ABC to figure out another date. I just did not remember how they answered regarding the the wedding and date before that.

I dont' think they ever released anything concrete about a wedding/date until it was postponed due to Ali having knee surgery. At least I dont' recall any formal announcment by anyone. But I do remember July being talked about. I'm really a bad person to get any good info from, I only half pay attention until it is completely confirmed and announced, which never happened with Ali/Roberto.

Ahh, I loved this interview. It's always great to see pictures of them but even better to see them interacting in real life. Such a cute pair.

My 14-year-old daughter was watching the interview and when it was finished she said wistfully, "I want to go to their wedding." And then I had the BEST idea. Ashley and JP could raffle off an invitation to the wedding! They could sell tickets and have a draw, and all the proceeds would go to their favourite charity. I really, really think they should do it. (And then I'll take out a second mortgage and buy all the tickets. Think the husband would notice or mind?) :awesome:

Also, upon rewatching that interview this morning, I noticed JP saying "life happens" in a no-bid-deal-way when they were talking about moving. I can see why Little Miss Type A Ashley (read: inch away from psycho ) would find him so comforting and relaxing- life happens, it's okay, they'll work through it and there's no need for a Bentley meltdown/hiding under the covers and wailing situation every day. :P

As Ashley said at ATFR, JP is just a good man. There's no other way to describe him. He's just a good man, he's mature and grounded, and I love that he's so committed to Ashley and their relationship that he's willing to do whatever it takes to make things work, including picking up and moving to another state. (Granted, that state is right next door, but still....)

It's so funny how people were freaking out about JP's bio during Ashley's season -- oh, he and Ashley are a horrible match because he's impatient and easily frustrated and she's a Type A personality so their relationship is totally doomed. The producers purposely included those answers to show us why they'll never last. :giggle: In reality, I don't think he could BE more patient and understanding and supportive. I guess maybe he's just an adult? Doing things that serious adults do in relationships? Crazy.

So I was rewatching the interview and my favorite part was when the hosts asked JP if he knew he was going to be "the one," and he said that in the beginning, it was all about ego and not wanting to go home, but after their first date he knew he probably wasn't going anywhere for a while, unless Ashley was totally faking everything. His answer gives me an excuse to repost my favorite screencap EVER (ever, ever):

The new E! video is so cute. It's disgusting how adorable I find Ashley. Seriously, I need to man up, she's not THAT cute... Okay, yes, she freaking is!

Her face when she said what if Courtney isn't F1 after Ben has sex with her and also married her while on the show was awesome. And the ending with promising to find Kacie a boyfriend. LOL.

Archer, I love that cap too! I think she would have been happy making out and cuddling with a broom if it was being nice to her that particular day, but it's so sweet that it ended up being her Life F1 as well as her Show F1.

It's never NOT a good time to repost that screencap. So much hotness. We seriously need to petition ABC for some really juicy never-before-seen footage to be included in their wedding special. Even five minutes' worth would make me happy.

And yes, Alanna, Ashley really IS that adorable. I'm in love with her laugh -- she has the cutest giggle! And that black wrap dress is to die for.
