The Bachelorette - Season 12 - JoJo Fletcher - General Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - #2

Well The Bachelorette has never been the F2 before. That coupled with the filming of Caila and what seems to be some tricking of Caila/her family, it's easy to see why one would be confident saying she was the lead. And let's be real, RS sucks at picking/spoiling the next lead. That's not his bread and butter.

It wouldn't bother me if he didn't gloat about what he knows (or thinks he knows) and run it into the ground. I know I can just not read his columns, but he does provide good info a lot. It would be nice to read it with a tiny bit of humility seasoned in.

Then he shouldn't have said he was 100% certain, had it confirmed by sources, that there was 0 chance of him being wrong, and belittling anyone daring to investigate the clues that indicated it wasn't Caila. If he wasn't so arrogant about it, people wouldn't enjoy him being wrong anywhere near as much.

The biggest joke on RS would have been if JoJo was F1 and Lauren were the Bachelorette. Doulble Kaboom!!!

Trista was f2 and the Bachelorette although that was before they had them every year so it wasn't filmed right after the finale.

Not a fan of RS at all but it's not unusual for him to get the next lead wrong as umngirl said. He's always smug and annoying so that's nothing new. What really bothers me is that Fleiss & company mess with nice people like Caila and Ari plus their families. It's really not necessary and seems sadistic to me.

Caila seems happy and is enjoying messing around with people on Twitter and making people think it's her so I don't think she's that upset or feels like she's been lead on.

She may be a good sport but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt and I draw the line with messing with the families.

Technically, the Bachelorette has had an F2. Trista was an F2.  As far as the turn around, it was the same time frame from the FRC with Brad 1.0 to Deanna's season and in a technical sense since Brad 1.0 chose no one, Deanna was kind of an F2. 
Then for Jason's season, they wanted Molly to be the 'ette, then Melissa and we know it ended in Jillian's lap.  They wanted Chantal and she had a boyfriend by then. So their mind frame has been on F2 for some time.

Sure Trista was F2 but that was long before the turnaround was this quick. Since they went to the current format/filming schedule no F2 has been. Some may have been considered but never got the job.

Personally, if Jojo tries any sort of sadness and heartbreak at the ATFR it's gonna feel like a total act since she will be filming her own season just a few short days later. But I shouldn't be surprised since I've felt Jojo has been acting at numerous points this season.

RS may not have been wrong .. There may actually have been a change .. Or not...

ITA. If anything it makes the entire process appear that much more scripted. I personally always felt they brought her in for that reason and a possible default if all else failed.

I was rooting for Calia as next lead and so hoping it would not be JoJo who I find annoying, grating, fake and acted her way through from night one.   The consolation prize for me will be to sit back and watch a season with no emotional investment and just enjoy the eye candy, because honestly I could care less if she picks a Bach intern as her F1.  Only downside is if I really, really like a guy, I'll be rooting for him to be eliminated.
