The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - #3 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I'm not a huge fan of the show but I watch when there's someone I like although I try not to get invested.

I want to say that although trying at times with the variance of opinions on here that it is a very solid forum to come to and have a bit of fun. Also, to learn about the world of manipulated reality tv.

Geez, I'm getting a getting quite an introduction . There is certainly a diff between a message board and a sleuthing site. I'd like to believe Ben really loved the two, though one more. Like he had a benchmark . I'd also like to believe he was truly looking for someone he could eventually call his wife, and made his final decision based on that . I know smoke and mirrors are employed, but is it wrong to believe the true intent was there for both girls? Is it time to burst my bubble ?

If you go back to the producers intentions, it amounts to a social dating experiment within a short time frame(10 weeks? Less?)
There is a storyline sketched out about season ahead of time. They are already putting feelers out for a prospective TB next fall.

They have the storyline in mind ahead of time? Then look for the "characters"? Wow! Consider my mind blown! So the manipulation is to produce the predetermined outcome? I thought they'd let things play out while filming and as things go on, build a storyline. So this season was predetermined to be torn between two lovers?

How is almost everyone convinced that Lauren is F1? Is it mostly because of RS and the US weekly article? I was pretty sure she was too up until now. Between the People blogs, Ben's recent couple interviews, and a lot of poking around SM posts (mainly Lo's friends and herself)have all lead me to believe now that Jojo is F1 and RS was told the wrong ending.

And think about how much sympathy JoJo will have in two weeks! She's going to have people in her corner and pulling for her like crazy. So much so that no one will care if she's the F2. All she has to do is come out and show some class and that she's moved on. IMO there's not another option with Becca or Caila. I will be completely shocked if they don't name JoJo the 'ette.

I love your no doubt because I feel it too. Amongst all this craziness now and what's to come , Ben found his ONE. They have both already said, they can't imagine their lives without each other.

I feel the exact opposite. Without knowing the spoilers I would say the FRC could honestly go either way. But after all the post filming clues I don't thibk it could be anyone but Lauren. Between ben's friends following her on SM and her family following him, SHV possibilities, SM hiatus's ect..I don't see how Jojo could be F1. I also find her Twitter activity (promoting/liking everything wrote about her & Ben) a little odd if she was in fact the F1. All IMO of course.

Speaking for myself, it has nothing to do with RS. We have been sleuthing since last July, well actually since K's season. Everyone has different opinions, so it's not everyone or almost everyone, because it doesn't matter what the ratio's are. Bottom line we can all have our own opinions.
