It's only my speculation because Ben posted this that he was on a flight back home with this Pearl Harbor veteran.  I googled Jim Downing and he's from Colorado who went to Hawaii for the Pearl Harbor celebration. I'm assuming if Ben's on a flight with this veteran, he must be flying back from Hawaii. Some people think they could have met at a stop over in LA before Colorado. It's possible but is it also not possible he was flying from Hawaii? Jojo was also in Hawaii right around the same time.

Ben says he is back home after filming and "I'm going to do some yard work."  This is what Lauren referenced in their first 1-1 regarding her father.  Hopefully it means something positive for them?

He does enjoy house/yard work! And he wasn't lying in his blog after his first date with Lauren that he related so much when Lo said her dad doing yard work makes him happy. He is also that simple. I think Ben and Daddy Bushnell will really get along in the future. ;)
