The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 6 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

With all the drama in this next episode this must be where Ben felt so upset and confused that he called his Mom for advice.  I remember reading that he hit a point where he started to question everything and everyone.  I'm sure in a highly emotional state of mind in the bubble it can be overwhelming for a Lead.  Especially if they truly have good intentions.  

The good news is it seems like in Indiana he got things sorted out.

Yeah, he might start to think is anyone there being real, who is acting, who isn't. And the dirty 'game playing' might get to him too. He was told about Olivia by multiple people, then about Lauren, and that might hit him hard. He clearly has a connection with them both, (or had with Olivia), and he might question if he can read people at all. 
Plus the bubble might start getting on their nerves too.

Yay, I can't wait until tomorrow night! We will finally actually be able to "know more" (<- used very loosely) about the girls!

Before we head into tomorrow night, I wanted to share these caps of the girls from a Vegas outtake. It shows that Olivia wasn't an outcast, that Lauren was most likely friends with JoJo judging body language, and that the spoiled F2 and F3 were friends too.








I love seeing this kind of stuff where the women's friendships are shown.

You can see only Lauren and JoJo linking arms at the very end of the clip, as they're walking.

Sure, there were a few rotten apples, but it looks like most of the girls became friends in the house. IA, I wish they showed us more of these in the promos.

TPTB objective is to produce a show about several women/men chasing a lead and edited drama. Not sure if their interest lies with the women/men being friendly or making friends. It's the opposite imo

Surprisingly, a lot of people enjoy 'feel good' tv more than drama and fighting. IMO they wouldn't need the manufactured drama, the natural drama would be enough. They could show these fun dates and activities more, girls bonding, the friendships. Sure, have a villain, but big dedicate 5-6 episodes for that.

TPTB aren't known for warm and fuzzy feel good .. Doesn't sell

It could sell.

What's wrong with natural drama? Don't they get good footage of the contestant venting their anxieties and being supportive of one another? It's a tough situation as it is, I'm sure there could be a good human interest piece there.

Aren't those True Hollywood stories popular? There will definitely be interest by the audience about what actually goes down in the mansion, including the good friendships too.
