Hayley apologized to Ben for her room being "dirty." I was thinking, it's not dirty, it's just really cluttered in a way that teenagers like to have a lot of "stuff" around. It's like she hasn't yet completely grown out of that phase of her life.

And I totally get her living at home. The family probably doesn't have a lot of money, and she and her sister are living at home, working, and going to school. I get that. At the same time, Emily and Haley are not going to be having the experiences of young women who are completely independent. And I have to feel that on some level, that will make a difference.

Love the play by play! I do think there are producer "saves" every week that Ben or the lead has to grin and bear as part of the process. After watching Unreal I wonder what the number is..Ben's Keeps vs Producer's Keeps.

I agree Olivia's tunnel vision is so strong - I mean how could she miss Ben's pained and bewildered facial expressions?

When I watch I find myself trying to figure out two mysteries..who he is most into and who is being positioned to be the next Bachelorette. I feel like he's most into JoJo, Lauren B, Jubilee and Caila with Caila also in the lead as the Bachelorette position as she narrates a lot each episode.

Besides Becca and Amanda, I have trouble remembering who the other remaining ladies are as their interactions have been so limited. Becca seems nice and genuine. I find Amanda to be kind of childish and immature which is odd given her circumstances.

I realised that I might have been blinded by JoJo's unicorn dust so went back and watched Lauren's time with Ben at the cocktail party for a 3rd time. Do you reckon he was trying to tell her something?

That is some pretty hefty reassurance and I haven't seen him do that with any of the other girls.

Are they hiding the F1 storyline and then plan to go surprise! We tricked you! You all thought it was Lauren but it was really JoJo. Are TPTB that sneaky - probably.

Plus I think he could really fall for Becca. She seems really normal and a sweet heart. They had a very honest and frank talk and she just seems like someone he would date and he obviously isn't put off with her being virgin.

I just wish they would get rid of all the drama so we can see more of the actual dates with these girls. We've hardly got to know them at all.

Who is everyone picking for top 4 at this stage?

My picks, in no particular order as I can't decide on the top 3, are JoJo, Lauren B , Becca and... this is tricky cause I want it to be Lauren H..... but maybe Caila? Even though every time I look at her I think "teenager" in both looks and personality.

The chemistry between Ben and Lauren B is undeniable. I too felt like he was saying, "hold on until I weed out the rest, I really want this chance with you". But of course for the suspense and drama he could not come right out and say it. My only concern with them is still her comments in her bio vid. She said she was meant to be a SoCal girl. How does that fit into Ben going back to Denver and living a normal life? He seems like the type of guy who is not involved in this fr any other reason then falling in love.

I'm still struggling though, and I know its my own naivety having only watched 2 US seasons, with the producers interference. I was completely gobsmacked when Olivia got that rose. After @theKeptGrits mentioned that she's probably there because the producers wanted her to stay it made sense as IMO Ben was totally over her.

I get so caught up in the show that I constantly forget that TPTB only let you see what they want you to see. And it does make me wonder if they cut his date with JoJo short because their chemistry is so off the charts and she's a too obvious F1. I'm still a fan of my unicorn friend!

I did some digging into Olivia's life prior to being on the show. She just recently graduated from college and had a weekend job on a news show. So the whole concept that she's a successful news anchor is not entirely accurate. Sharleen Joynt (from Juan Pablo's season ) had some insight on her blog regarding Olivia. It all boils down to willingness to give the producers plenty of material for whatever editing they choose to do. Therefore she's angling for something else while trying to convince us that she's in love with Ben.

Jojo is definitely one to watch. She has a quiet confidence about her that does not need loudness to prove. Am wondering how authentic her treatment of Jubilee was when editing showed her walking away. Maybe I'm just a cynic, but I just didn't think it was true to the character she's shown so far.

One thing that stands out to me is...yes the photos of past bf (s). She stated that someone should have taken them down. My thought was " Why didn't you take responsibility for removing them yourself?" As with all sets of twins there is always one that is outgoing and one that is more introverted or nervous. As Haley was having that conversation with Ben in her room, we could all see there wasn't anything there.

Those two have the "twin bond" going on. So now are we going to be treated to woe is me, I miss my twin? My prediction is that Emily does not last for more then a week or two before Ben sends her home.

Here is something nutty that crossed my mind during the cocktail party.
Several girls were wear very short dresses. I was half way rooting for a wardrobe malfunction... just to see what would happen.
Would Ben have been embarrassed? Or would have been more like... OK now we know what's not worn under the kilt.
Not dissing wardrobes, just a random observation that I chuckled over. I did see something like that happen during improv comedy one night. cantstopl

Lauren H is a kindergarten teacher. Keeping kids interested is important as well as maintain control. I like her a lot and her sense of humor. But in regards to the other girls, she kind of comes of as the hall monitor. That could be a fun quality to have as Bachette...jk

Yeah - I really like her and would love to see her in the F4. But she doesn't get enough air time so I think her, Leah and Emily will be eliminated next after Olivia. Also something is going on with Jubilee.

The previous Bachelorette leads - have they all been picked from the top 4?

They are usually either #4 or 3 to in Emily Maynard's case, she was the f1 but it fell sadly apart. Because of being a widow with a sad story, she came back to have her own season about a year or so later. From her season came Sean Lowe as Bachelor and he married his F1 in a big tv wedding. They are expecting their first child.

IMO he's the kind of guy that wouldn't want to do the long distance thing - he's seems quite traditional - so that might be something he discusses with each girl before he makes his decision.
