Becca Tilly - Bachelor 20 - #3 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I can't speak for "other people" but for me, it's all about sleuthing. I really don't care who is dating who, but if we find tid bits of info and can speculate, it's fun when it comes to fruition. There is speculation Ashley and JP maybe be expecting because of SM pics and opinions on those pics, posted in their thread. If this in fact is true, it all started in their thread, well before it was announced.

Kinda like sleuthers here knew Becca was going to be on the next season, even though it didn't appear possible at the time.

This is a sleuthing and spoiler site, so it's reasonable to expect sleuthing and speculation. It's also reasonable to speculate - based on Becca's actions & statements - that she wants to find true love and feels that it can happen on a reality tv show. 

I don't think that Becca appearing in SC or other forms of SM indicate that she is in an adult relationship with any of these guys. Friends, photo ops, promoting her "brand" to remain relevant - yes! 

Now when / if she ever appears regularly with a humble man of average looks, with a strong faith that has no involvement the entertainment industry then I will wonder if she is in an adult relationship. IMHO.

ITA FLChica. So far all we've seen is Becca on the show and mostly hanging out with former cast and others on SM. The more she does that, the less likely she's serious about being in a real relationship which is fine. It does make me think that she had other reasons for doing the show.

She certainly does not care about having any unspoiled viewers think she won ended the season with Ben.  This validates to me her real reasons for returning.    JMO

This definitely a sleuthing website. I think I just let my own personal experiences get in the way in my post, which I shouldn't have, and I apologize for that. In my personal life, whenever I or my friends take pictures with a member of the opposite sex, I/we don't understand why other people (family/other friends/acquaintances) assume that we're more than friends.

Becca is verified on IG now by the way.

Just one more thing to make her think she's more popular/important/etc. than she really is.

It's a valid point. I totally agree that happens all the time. No need to apologize, it's a good point IMO! A sleuthers mind is always on the lookout. My son went to NYC for New Years Eve. I had a live link on my laptop on Times Square, while watching PitBull on TV. I noticed the big ABC billboard Ad for Ben in the distance on one of the cams. For me, it's just a sleuthers frame of mind.

In general, I don't feel taking and posting pics with someone of the opposite sex automatically means something  is going on between them.  However, she is on her second appearance on a show to find love, as manufactured and manipulated as it is.  As Seabear mentioned above, she doesn't seem to be trying to keep it a secret she didn't end up as F1 this time around.  No posts that have fans wondering, sleuthing and questioning is there really a slim chance she ended up with Ben, like she did before.  So, I find it somewhat natural for those that are fans wanting to see her find love and following her to be curious when she posts pics with males. And as mentioned, it is a sleuthing site and people here are really good at picking up on little details and put the pieces together.

IMO, the oversharing on SM tends to attract the speculation, as well.  And honestly, it makes me wonder if that is not one reason she and many others from the franchise do it... For the extra attention, etc. it will bring their way.  If you don't want the speculation and comments (both negative and positive), don't post constantly on all forms of SM and share every aspect and detail (no matter how big or small) of your life.

For those who are speculating that Becca went on this season for fame only (or to be the next lead) and had/has no interest in being in a relationship, what do you think she would have done had Ben actually fallen for her?

Have no doubt, I too believe that she enjoys the limelight, hopes to leverage her notoriety into some money making venture so as not to have to totally rely on her clerical job for income (or better herself educationally in order to qualify for a more lucrative career), and was convinced (probably by producers) that this second appearance would garner her the role of the next Bachelorette, but I also think she liked Ben, and would have been happy to end up "engaged" to him, and would have tried (and failed) to have a real relationship with him once the show ended.  IMO, she was probably pretty confident that things would conclude in one of two ways; either she would be engaged to Ben, or she would be the next lead, and she was fine with either option.

I agree ironcat. After all, being f1, even just for a few months, brings in enough opportunities as it is. I think she'd see it as a win win.
