Got it. David did have "NON COMPLIANCE" issues and 2 "ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE"s .crazychicken wrote:Yes the image says he was ordered to do
2 x 26 week 2 hour DV courses
The court completion certificate says that the court substituted it for anger management (2 x 10 hours)
The course completion certificate was for a 6 hour course that was accepted by the court as sufficient
The article says he completed 2 x 26 week courses
There is a huge difference between 6 hours and 104 hours of anger management
A court issues those to give a defendant a chance to rectify an issue and explain a circumstance the court finds issues with. The court record also shows "Counseling General". No clue what the heck that means.

In my experience (Australia) so could be different
I read that as letter sent
(4/4)
Order to show cause - tell us why you have not completed your classes
Counseling general - here is how to rectify the situation (available resources ie who runs classes)
24/4
Correspondence received - Letter from David transferring classes to NY where he lives
Order granting motion - Letter back saying OK to complete them in NY
26/6
Completion certificate from classes in NY accepted by court

Yes. He received 2 Orders to show cause. I also suspect that it was regarding the completion of the classes. He had issues paying the restitution. Maybe that was also an issue. In my experience "counseling general" is kind of like a kick in the butt, a red flag that this person is disrespectful to the court.crazychicken wrote:In my experience (Australia) so could be different

He has 2 other lawsuits where he was sued for failure to pay his attorney and failure to repay a debt.

That's how I saw it as well. "Counseling" doesn't automatically mean psychological counseling. It means giving guidance in general, a consultation. They were probably just advising him on what to do.
I'm no more shocked after reading that police report than I was before reading it. Yes, sounds like he was acting a bit crazy, but it's not like he didn't have a reason to. Doesn't excuse his behaviour, but I don't think it's his usual behaviour either. Sounds like it was a pretty serious relationship since they moved to Arizona together and then she's cheating on him with his co-worker and possibly his brother as well. That'll mess with anyone's mind. If I was cheating on someone and then complained about them being jealous, that would be a bit hypocritical, no? Seems like the anger management class worked, since he hasn't repeated his offense in 8.5 years. He does seem a tad desperate when it comes to women, but that doesn't make him a wife beater. JMO.
I get calling out the show for their dodgy casting decisions, but it doesn't seem to be affecting them in any way. It's basically just free press for them. It's David and his family who are hurt by digging all this up and making it public, not the show. I don't think he's done anything to deserve it.

crazychicken wrote:Well the didn't research very well, just by looking at the images there is mis-information in the article. The program he completed was a 6 hour anger management course. They would have referred him on if they felt he needed further assistance.

Sorry you added to your post as I was typing my problem is how they have gone after David, if they felt the producers had no done thorough enough background checks (I agree) then go after them, the threats seem personal and makes me less likely to listen to any information they produce.
It really is there are 3 sides to every story, after reading the article I do not feel like David is lying, Brians statement smells fishy to me like he is protecting himself and the girlfriend. Both parties say the girlfriend cheated, both say a phone was broken, both say David pushed his girlfriend out the door.
Edited as I linked the wrong brochure
I didn't see where Brian or the gf said that, but on my computer the type is very light. Does it say that?
Has Brian commented on David's current story that he cheated with David's girlfriend?

No man in their right mind would like to come home and find their girlfriend cheating on them especially with their own brother, that would surely blow one's mind. David you damn if you, you damn if you don't. Keep your head high and continue to learn from life harsh reality, keep a positive attitude and things in the long run will work out for you some how.

She wasn't sleeping with his brother. She left with his brother because she didn't feel safe around David. David told the cops she was sleeping with a coworker. He can't even keep his stories straight.

If she is sleeping with a co-worker and he finds out, then him seeing her with his brother he might have jump to the wrong conclusion. We all make mistakes jumping to the wrong conclusion sometimes, we are human not machines. He did not kill anyone so the brimstone is not needed.
