Funny, because it's Ashley and her friends/family who I would call a mean girl group. The fact that she's not attracted to David doesn't give her and her immediate circle to right to spread David's personal business all over the internet, especially since said personal business is ancient history and has nothing whatsoever to do with her. And it's not just David's reputation that's on the line, it's his brother's as well. They were obviously young and stupid when the incident happened and have patched things up since, so having to go through all that again in public is probably the last thing either of them wanted. Ashley's friend has been linking people to those rumours since the start of the season, so it's not hard to guess where they originated in the first place. Vile people. David hasn't done anything to Ashley, he's still being gracious towards her. There is no reason for them to act like vindictive a-holes towards him. I don't care how disgusting Ashley finds David, he's still a human being and deserves to be treated like one. He didn't make people dislike Ashley, she did it all by herself. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the rumours about her trying to make an ex jealous were true, because it would explain her behaviour perfectly. She seemed pretty positive after the wedding and at the start of the honeymoon, but then totally switched off and became glued to her phone. Makes you wonder.

As an FYI, this forum doesn't care who your sources are, just so you know. Protecting sources is rule 101 in sleuthing.

If you or anyone has information to share from a source that you do not want to reveal, you simply say you've been told, someone close to ....has told me, etc. We do not need to hear the background of where the info came from, how many sources you have etc. It's not necessary.

Any tweets that are snark towards members get deleted. Any member who is rude or snarks more than once gets banned.

There is no need to tease the forum, if you have information to share then share it. Everyone is entitled to share information if they want, however enforcing their beliefs towards other members is not acceptable.

This is the first of 2 articles by In Touch. On Friday the complete arrest record and more will be released. 

I spoke with the journalist several times. She assured me the arrest record and court record was reviewed and vetted as legit by their attorneys and entire legal team. IMO MAFS got wind of the mounting social media questions and responded with the People article. However, it appears to me that they didn't do due diligence to the facts of the situation. The In Touch article researched and lifted quotes from the statements given to police by David's brother and his former girlfriend. 

My issue/point is the lack of transparency for these cast members. Was Davina told of Sean's probation? No. Was Ashley aware she was marrying a man with 2 civil lawsuits and a criminal lawsuit? Doubtful. 
I know there are many that dislike this woman. That's not my issue at all. Kinetic and MAFS are once AGAIN trying to shirk responsibility. Nowhere is it addressed if they missed all these lawsuits in a background check, or they didn't feel the intended bride should know.

Well the didn't research very well, just by looking at the images there is mis-information in the article. The program he completed was a 6 hour anger management course. They would have referred him on if they felt he needed further assistance.

Sorry you added to your post as I was typing my problem is how they have gone after David, if they felt the producers had no done thorough enough background checks (I agree) then go after them, the threats seem personal and makes me less likely  to listen to any information they produce.

It really is there are 3 sides to every story, after reading the article I do not feel like David is lying, Brians statement smells fishy to me like he is protecting himself and the girlfriend. Both parties say the girlfriend cheated, both say a phone was broken, both say David pushed his girlfriend out the door.

I'm not following you. What did I miss? The article and the image of the affidavit state it was a 26 week anger mgt course. 

As far as David's statements, there are several that do not add up and are clearly dispelled by the police acct and the GF and brother's statements. There is more to be released later this week.

Seems like much ado about an otherwise stupid fight where David lost all reasonable self control in breaking the phone, acting out in front of the cops to the point where they arrested him, etc.

This show is ridiculous.

A 6-week agreement to have a legal marriage to a stranger, where the show pays for the house and you receive a weekly paycheck in effect, and go through a bunch of (fake) counseling? This brouhaha and the arrest, like Sean V's DUI the year before, just reveal what a stupid farce this show is -- of COURSE, these two weren't a bona fide match with this track record. They were hopeless from Minute One. The experts can't even articulate a psycho-babble plausible explanation for the pairing, and this criminal history is more proof of the obvious -- there is no serious intention to find compatible couples.

Yes the image says he was ordered to do

2 x 26 week 2 hour DV courses
The court completion certificate says that the court substituted it for anger management (2 x 10 hours)
The course completion certificate was for a 6 hour course that was accepted by the court as sufficient

The article says he completed 2 x 26 week courses

There is a huge difference between 6 hours and 104 hours of anger management

So he begs Ashley to stay with him tonight according to some previews. Really, the relationship is a joke at this point.

Yep, sounds like he doesn't like those women to leave even when they want to.

I thought this was going to come out in a reputable magazine. In Touch is one step above The Star IMO. Their accuracy rate is crap. Their next cover will be, Ben Higgins breaks up with his final pick. F2 got pregnant during filming. Fantasy Suite Secrets Revealed by Super Reliable Source.

Were people expecting Newsweek to report on this? Pretty sure OK magazine, though a fairly unreliable tabloid, does not manufacture police reports. Just a hunch....
