Together and individually they made zero progress, and she looks like a Martian in that clip above. What's with her skin? They were so un-entertaining, not cute, mismatched, Waste of Time TV couple. Bleck!

Thanks for the welcome! I haven't watched tonight's episode yet but had a thought while looking at the previous post about narcissism. Having dated a narcissist, I know that if that were the case, Ashley would exhibit charm, would have a personality that might draw someone in...we know this is not the case *snort*.
IMO, and in the short time we've seen here, maybe there's some sort of attachment disorder? Something like avoidant attachment that the experts may have missed in her. People with avoidant attachment would do just that: avoid attaching to others, as we see in her interactions with David. To play armchair psychologist, a checklist includes things we've seen such as:
"• Focusing on small imperfections in your partner: the way s/ he talks, dresses, eats, or (fill in the blank) and allowing it to get in the way of your romantic feelings.
• Not saying “I love you”—while implying that you do have feelings toward the other person.
• Pulling away when things are going well
• “Checking out mentally” when your partner is talking to you.
• Keeping secrets and leaving things foggy—to maintain your feeling of independence.
• Avoiding physical closeness—e.g., not wanting to share the same bed, not wanting to have sex, walking several strides ahead of your partner"

Of course, that's all quoted and they're nowhere near that level of intimacy, and it's all IMO...she seems to use anything a wall between them, even Bella.

Ashley is totally impossible! I don't know if there's a financial reason why she is staying, but if there isn't, I don't know why she doesn't just quit - it certainly doesn't look like she's trying to have any kind of a relationship with David.

I see your point if he was someone she actually picked and fell in love with and then was having these problems, but I'm not sure it applies when maybe she's just creeped out by him and trying to fulfill her contract??

"The experts" would have had better luck drawing names at of a hat for these two. They are such a mismatch imo.

In the previews she says she's willing to give him another chance. Huh? You're the one that's been given chances over and over. I don't get this girl. She makes an issue out of everything that comes out of David's mouth. If he asks her a question she doesn't want to talk about it, if he doesn't ask, she drills him about not asking her. If she is just riding out her contract, she is getting a lot of hate along the way. She could have behaved much differently if she totally doesn't want to be with him. Like a grown up, not a spoiled brat. MeAshley doesn't care about anyone other than herself. Even if she does come around, miraculously IMO it will take some time for her to prove that she is a good match for him. She has a long way to go.

Some friend she has if she wasn't told the whole story. Her friend neglected to tell her the reason he contacted that person was to find out more information about who Ashley really is, but the friend made it sound like he called her for drinks.

With friends like those who needs enemies. I call BS on Ashley.

We have to remember the editing, IMO we are not seeing the whole story, just the drama, and lets face it, Ashley and David have a lot of it, but everything we are being shown sure does point to all bets are off with this couple.

Out of three seasons 4 couples will come out because I do believe Neil and Sam will stay together and so will Tre and Vanessa. add to the first season 2 couples, I say they are almost doing more than the bachelor.

The glaring reality is that these two KNOW they don't understand each other or how to communicate with each other.
He beats a dead animal to death, and she goes arctic. At the very least, show the viewers a LITTLE bit of polar opposites trying to LIKE each other enough to be civil.
