She didn't appear on GMA. The whole thing was just a video from last night with Becca saying a few things. They've done that before. Fleiss may be trying to appease Becca and let her think she's in the mix but he knows how dreadfully dull she is on camera. I can't imagine he wants a snooze fest for next season.

If that exec is right the next lead will be Caila or Jojo barring them bringing in Jubilee.

MF and co would love Becca to be the next 'ette. They would debase this naive woman and do the best they possibly could to encourage the loss of her virginity while we munch on our chips/dips and ice cream in the comfort of our homes. Great tv, right? This is the only reason they would want Becca. MOAA. No other reason. A real feather first in their caps.

That makes me nauseated reading it b:c it's so true! Though in the minority, I'd like to see Becca's "journey" if it were done in a way that actually unpacked the reasons that she's struggled so much in letting in love. I'd also want her to get a happy ending, but two love stories in a row is unlikely if Ben's season works out being magic.

I want Becca to find love on her own terms. If she were to do this show, she'd need an incredible lawyer to negotiate that contract.

@albean99 Ah okay. I didn't watch it so I didn't realize she wasn't actually on there. Regardless Robert Mills did retweet it. I always think they can't possibly want a snooze fest either but then they pick leads like CS and put me to sleep.

I just don't understand how she's going to handle being the lead when she gets irked at mild tweets about her. It's going to get much nastier than Sean asking if she's ever laughed.

I listened to an interview with Chris H. The host asked him if there was going to be a woman of color as the next Bachelorette. He wouldn't answer the question. He went around it by talking about the formula that's made the franchise successful since 2002. They don't want to mix it up and lose ratings. I got the impression the Bachelorette will be Amanda, Caila or possibly JoJo. Nick was also interviewed and he said they need to have a more lively Bachelorette since the men aren't as animated and dramatic as the women. Nick thinks Becca is boring and doesn't see her as the next lead.

I would love to see a real love story with Becca, but this show would never do it. Just look how they're treating pretty drama free LauBen. THAT would be the kind of story Becca would bring, and TPBP aren't going to leave it at that. I can already see the UsWeekly stories about Becca losing her virginity/losing the guy because she didn't lose her virginity. Also, I don't think Becca could handle it.

So JoJo, throw in your silverware, you're my only hope.

It totally sickens me to imagine the stuff they could splice and dice and intentionally plan while acting like a friend and Praying

to Becca and her family. This is Michael Fleiss the man behind Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This is not Pope Francis(who I love, btw).
NM that this would be Becca's 3rd go round and she should know better--but really? I don't think the girl does. I think her support system tries to tell her, but she just can't get it. I think if TPTB totally destroyed this woman she would still put a smile on it and ask for another season.

IMO he's tossing Becca's name around just like he does every season with two or three contestants to make everyone think we make a difference in the decision making.

She's going to be the next lead just like she was getting a HTD JMHO but that's not the type of person MF wants as the bachelorette.

Becca is going to get the Arie and Nick treatment - candidates with a big fanbase but also a big number of people who don't like them, who will be strung along and made to think that they're going to be the lead until the last minute where TPTB reveal the real lead who was always going to get it. Her name is just being thrown out there to create speculation but nothing will come of it. JMO.

The negative reaction to Caila on SM because she's "fake" is interesting to me because I remember the mass support for Ben as the Bachelor last year even though he 100% pretended to be into Kaitlyn and put on this "nice guy" facade. He had probably the least emotional exit ever that season and could barely remember her name in the limo. I guess if you're a guy you get a free pass on phoniness with the female fans.

I can't remember what article I was reading, but according to it, Ben admitted to not even liking Kaitlyn. I wish I could remember where I read that.

I honestly think the only way Becca would get it , is last resort, if a few of the other turned it down. I just don't think they would do it. Just like they wouldn't do Nick.
