The Bachelorette - Season 12 - Potential Lead - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Caila's comment that she's meant to love someone as she's leaving in the limo is significant IMO.
She's being set up as Bette I think.

The MOST important thing is that Caila is getting into the media.  She's getting good press right now while Lauren and JoJo are still under radio silence for the next 2 weeks. She's coming off as sweet & sympathetic and she can keep that momentum if she plays it right.

If Caila is smart and wants the role, she needs to play up the "I was hurt, but now I'm ready for love" angle.  Stay in front of the cameras, smile and toss that beautiful hair.

I guess her hair is not attainable for most of us if all she uses is hairspray & a curling iron. Either that or they're making her hide her secret until she's the Bachelorette.

^^^^ Most of it's going to be genetic, on the Filipino side.  And also, it doesn't look as if she color-treats her hair or straightens it.  The blondes with the black roots that constantly color and torture their hair are never going to have what Caila has, unless they STOP with the chemicals and heat, and cut off all the damaged stuff.  But most women won't.

I think Caila will get it, imho.

My money is on Jojo.

I'd say Caila has it but I would prefer Jojo

I think JoJo would be a better lead than Caila. JoJo seems much more mature than Caila.

I'd like JoJo more, IMO she'd handle it better.

I think it was the extent to which she was toeing the TPTB line ("Oh no, production did not manipulate me at all into going to see Ben; 100% my idea!") and also how she "demonstrates" her acceptance and grace ("Now I am feeling a little closure, which is good. I’m just feeling happy that he’s happy, and that’s all I wanted to see..").

It read to me like a TPTB press release, setting her up for the role!

I don't know, to me it just sounded like she realised after leaving the bubble that she wasn't in love with Ben anyway. Not sure it has anything to do with the Bachelorette. I hope not anyway.

I think they're making a mistake if they take a pass on JoJo just because she's the F2. Yeah, it's a bit inconvenient since it seems like she was truly devastated, but it would be worth the trouble IMO. She's much more mature and comfortable on camera, able to be herself and able to handle men. Caila just seemed overwhelmed by the whole thing. And JoJo seems to be well-liked by viewers whereas there's a lot of negativity surrounding Caila. It'll be another Britt situation if they announce Caila as the Bachelorette. JMO.
