The Bachelorette - Season 12 - Potential Lead - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

JoJo seems pretty darn happy post-show after a major blindside.
Either she is the next Ette, is with Ben, or super-crazy-good at bouncing back (please fill me in on how you did that, JoJo!)

I do think that Caila would be like a Britt situation. She's not popular with the viewers on SM (there are several saying NOT Caila in response to MF's tweet) but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I think it's good to have a more realistic or even negative opinion of the lead as opposed to the OTT fangirling on SM that comes with the fan favorites which just leads to disappointment. The fan favorites almost always end up disliked. I guarantee there won't be this overwhelming love for JoJo on SM halfway through a season of her.

I think that always happened, though. Jake wasn't super popular when he was picked (he was like the fourth choice, right?) and people still were surprised at how much they hated him. Ashley Hebert wasn't first pick (people wanted Chantal or Emily) and for a while there, people REALLY hated her when she was going through her Bentley stuff. I just think the bigger they are, the harder the fall, but they ALL fall. IMO.

The one who they think they can manipulate more will get the lead IMHO.

I think "maturity level" is overrated for this show.  How mature did Kaitlyn have to be?  Or Juan Pablo?

None of the leads make many decisions during the show, so who cares if they are "thoughtful", or "Proper" or "Seemly"?  We'll never see them discussing anything of depth anyway, so who cares about maturity?  

These folks are not attempting to broker world peace or conquer climate change.  They are pretty people in cool places doing fun things.  And maybe an actual relationship results at the end.   I think maturity means exactly squat, so I say bring on happy, bubbly Caila and screw the unneeded angst.

I also want to ask if anyone here thinks those engagement rings are genuinely beautiful? Personally IMO they just look like everyone else in Hollywood. I'm inclined to quote a friend who said she's seen prettier from a Cracker Jacks box.

Eees okay. Caila is annoying. There, I said it. (I miss the hiding chair emoticon).

I love Caila's positive vibe.  I think the gig is hers.  IMO she will be an interesting Bachelorette to watch. Much more refined than most of the bach/ette folk.  Living in numerous places around the world has given her a much larger world view.  I see a measured thought process and not immaturity in anyway.  Get out the passports and bring on the beautiful smile.

Well I think maturity is the most important quality in a person who is looking for a lasting relationship. If I want to just see cool places I might as well watch the Travel Channel. JMO.

I love Kaitlyn's ring.  :Nod:  This one I'd like to see it on Lauren's finger but so far not so much. I don't care for the baguettes as they don't seem sparkly enough. But yeah, I REALLY REALLY LOVE Kaitlyn's ring.... a lot! 

Emily had a beautiful ring from Brad and also from Jef. Jef's was probably my favorite.

Is she really happy or pretending to be ?
