And in searching for truth, most people, including myself said "I think Becca will be on the show" and voila!! She is!!  

Like I said, we "guess" better than RS does:
- We "guessed" that last season's spoiler was a foiler and we were correct.
- We "guessed" that Becca was going on the show and we were correct.
- We "guessed" that Becca had a 1on1 date and we were correct.
- And all of these "guesses" became "spoilers" for RS.

We can "guess" better than RS (not hard to do, IMHO).

People "guessed" Becca was Chris' F1.
People "guessed" Nick was Kaitlyn's F1.
People "guessed" so-and-so was F1 when they weren't.

Many here make just as many incorrect guesses. But it would be rude of us to bring it up to each other all the time when they are guesses.

My focus is not on the negative but the positive and the word "guess" I used loosely because nothing is 100% until it is proven to be.
It's within forum rules to congratulate those on the forum for a job well done.
It is not in forum rules to bring up incorrect guesses or lambast others which I have not done.

My post still stands.
The point is that RS is being defended because he didn't say "100%".
Well how convenient.
So if Becca was on the show he would be "right" and if she wasn't he would be "right".
Bottom line is he "guessed" she wouldn't be - he was wrong!

And why wasn't RS the FIRST to spoil Becca was back on the show if he has such inside scoop?
I understand that RS can be correct about some things but it will remiss of me to think that most of that correctness is due to his ability to "guess" rather than how correct his sources are.

Bottom line is that the sleuthing here did "guess" correctly about Becca going on the show and that RS guessed incorrectly.

As far as information being shared and what to believe, it appears some of Becca's friends have posted here. Some information is not jiving with what others have said. For example, she would never go on the show if Ben didn't want her there, or Ben didn't want her there but she felt she had to try, paraphrasing.

We can decide what to believe, we can speculate based on what we are told, or we can ignore and sleuth. There are many choices.

Sorry, but I don't understand what the point of this post is?? That's what we do here, we speculate, we make incorrect guesses, we sleuth incorrectly, and we get things correct, we learn from each other, and we give credit to each other.

What does being rude to RS have to do with anything?

Yet he has proof (pics of Becca on the wedding date which funnily enough I saw the day before he released them) which prove the guesses right and that seems to be completely swept under the rug.

RS never claims to have scoop about absolutely everything on this show. He often says he doesn't. He shares what he hears and believes to be reliable. I'd hazard a guess that anyone in his position would made mistakes occasionally too. No one is ever 100% whether it's a guess or not.

RS this RS that. Since this is about Becca and her topic, I go back to the fact that the sleuthing here predicted that Becca would go on the show and that her SM was indicating such.

RS makes money off of his "guesses" and "spoilers".

So yes, it is RS' job to get the information correct.
It's what he gets paid to do!

And yet RS couldn't even "guess" that he was fed a foiler last season or "guess" that Becca was going on the show?
I could guess all those things and it is not my JOB.

Back to the topic of Becca.

If RS is right, good on him. I have no problem giving credit as due.
Basically, my outlook on the show and sleuthing is the same before he ever appeared on the TB scene. I try to only allow him a small piece of my personal puzzle.

*EDIT* no one is forcing people to read RS. If he still has a job, after being wrong x amount of times, it's because people choose to read and trust him. It's no different than people continuing to buy US, even though they've gotten stories wrong, or reading Perez, who's gotten stories wrong. That's just how entertainment news works. Heck, that's how ALL news works - you use your intuition and knowledge to make the best decisions on your sources, but you'll probably be wrong. People are free to stop reading him whenever they choose...yet, his spoilers are awaited every season here and his information is ALWAYS brought here. *EDIT*

And, I'm all for self-congratulating but I think if people go back to archives, the story for last season isn't that simple of us being right before RS. Although many people suspected that Kaitlyn might have had an F1 after the snap-chat of a supposed SHV exterior, many (if not, most) were saying "wow, Shawn must have really wanted the lead gig to stick around after this mess with Nick" and many were saying "no way did Kaitlyn have sex with Nick in Ireland. It's 100% Shawn".

Imo we see Rs post stuff after members here speculate, sleuth and discuss in these threads. It has happened many times over the years. So yes he gets information fed to him but it is clear he feeds from here as well.

Just as an aside...

As someone who has sleuthed 3 seasons without RS or spoilers of Bachelor franchise this year alone (Bach NZ, Bach AU, Bette AU) I can safely say that sleuthing this way has proven to me that RS can be a distraction when it comes to sleuthing.

It's why I don't pay that much heed to what is being said unless it fits the puzzle pieces and can be proven.

I really don't care who is "correct".

What I care about is making sure the pieces of the puzzle fit and there is evidence to support these pieces.

So far, with regards to things stated about Becca and the facts thereafter, the puzzle pieces have best fit what has been sluethed on this forum and proven correct.

So until there is evidence to corroborate any other information, no matter the source, I will view it as IMO/JMO until it is proven as fact and not just opinion.

That's what makes it difficult to keep track of things when things are presented as fact or because "RS said it" but there is no evidence.

Until there is evidence? I will keep sleuthing...
