Nick Viall - Bachelorette 11 - *Spoilers - Sleuthing* - Discussion #7

So Nick had a crystal ball to see that if he came on K's season, he would get a better edit, he would appear on red carpet and became a model? Great! Can I borrow it?
I have seen people with all kinds of speculation why K did a 180 towards Nick, like how he may have tried to contact her... Nope. He did not. And K herself chases fame too. She was on back to back reality shows and she would have done it the third time if she was offered DWTS or TAR. If that's why her attitude changed because he was so attention hungry...pot calling the kettle black? IMO.

I think N and K have a lot in common actually re: wanting to pursue opportunities out there. K just seems more honest with herself whereas I think Nick is putting up a bit of a front. Like, just own it.

I love how he says fan girls are crossed off of his dating list. Is his hook up list something different then?

I still think he really liked Kaitlyn and wanted to be with her, but I think in the back of his head he was like "hey, maybe this will make people fall in love with me. People love Kaitlyn and if she falls in love with me, maybe people will soften on me". It's like Dana said, he's someone who's very aware of how he is perceived. It's probably why people like Shawn think he is fake. Those speeches he had gave the guys "it was a relationship I'll never forgotten and one I've grown from, but a relationship I've let go of". It's almost like an actor reciting his lines! 

I also don't think the RS video was planned. I think it was just bad luck he got stuck right in front of RS's ex-girlfriend who was able to hear the word "final rose" and figure out what he was talking about. I'm sure other contestants have done the same thing (vent to family and friends as soon as they get their phones back), but he was just the first one to get caught. I still think he was a "good guy" last year and the fame just changed him.

Why is Nick's ability to craft a fully formed, well planned idea a bad thing? Why do we assume that because he is able to express with succinct accuracy his thoughts and feelings, that he is somehow underhandedly attempting to trick his audience? I think the fact that he has contemplated the underlying currents in many situations points rather to his wisdom and maturity. I for one, would appreciate input from another who has carefully and exhaustively evaluated the climate of a problem before jumping into the deep end.

Plus, if we are assuming that he is just an excellent actor, a mastermind just planning out each step with villainous intent, then maybe he needs to live in Hollywood. He might actually be right on track with his career plan. Just a thought.

Well I did once say he'd make a good producer on Bachelor/Bachlorette. I meant it.

If this is regarding my post that I made earlier that Brooks did do a shirtless pic. with his pants unbuttoned and his underwear showing. Was in no way comparing Nick and Brooks it was stated to a poster that posted something that was not a fact. I thought Brooks looked great in that pic. I totally understand that Brooks and Nick are two different people. Sorry if this confused posters but just wanted to clarify that Brooks has done some when that poster said he had done zero.

Well all this talk about models with their pants down, I just caught up in Bach Aussie threads, (where there is BTW some incredible sleuthing going on ) and what do I see? Bach Aussie, pants undone, shirtless. It's catchy.

I don't think anything of seeing guys posing shirtless. There are tons of them out there, and a lot of them aren't modelling. No big deal IMO.

As far as RS how could he possibly know whether someone had sex with anyone. He has no hesitation spewing info that will give him more clicks on his site. He has accused a lot of contestants over the years because he heard, or he was told. We say time and time again, TPTB will do whatever it takes for ratings. IMO RS only cares about the clicks that pay him and doesn't care who he brings down along the way.

Sorry went back and looked and yes you are right just underwear showing but pants buttoned. But still think he looks great . My bad

This gave me a much needed good laugh.

It definitely seems like this is catching on, even down under. Nick is doing nothing any different than any other guy and I am sure the next bachelor lead of any franchise will have some shirtless shots as well. It's all the same to me.... Nick is just another one of many. jmo
