Probably one of the more real moments coming from Nick that didn't sound rehearsed was when he said he felt like a joke. In that moment, he finally saw what many others have been seeing, how stupid and ridiculous it was for him to come back. It was a joke from the beginning.

What I was baffled by was Kait saying she didn't want this season to end the same for Nick as last season, so that's why she dragged him all the way to the end. Err what? So you wanted it to end worse for him this time? Before, I thought he might've told her that he wants to see it all through, but apparently he told her the opposite several times, so I also don't get what the heck she was thinking. Perhaps the producers made her, but then again she's been quite the rule-breaker throughout, so yeah... I'm glad she at least acknowledged it was wrong. It's just so clear that she doesn't really think anything through. It's all like "Oops! Oh well. no idea

". I'm sure she's gotten away with it all her life because she's so cute. That's why I didn't think it was worth it harping on about it. Someone that careless and self-involved is never gonna get it. Best to just let it go.

In fact most people on SM are happy with thew way she and Nick handled it.

I think Kait and shawn just want to get on with it and are sooooo happy to be out. Smiley

Definitely not as bad as it was with Andi.

And she should have stopped him as soon as he arrived at the mansion. It would have been the kind thing to do for her so called friend Nick.

I LOVE you, seriously. But I'm surprised. Weren't you the one suggesting a proposal would help Nick find closure. What made you change your mind??

I am not a Nick fan, but I also though a proposal will bring him closure, and I think it did, bcs he didn't look beaten like he was last time, he looked more peaceful. Also, I think in time, when all settles, he is going to realize that K gave it a lot of though and cared (not IL, but loved) for him more than Andi did, "I never loved you". So, in all honesty, N earned my respect this season (last year, not so), and I think the Nick fans should start a movement "Nick for the bachelor"!!
I really believe being a contestant was never a good platform for N, his love redar is really off just like it was with Des, so having many contestants to chose from will give him an opportunity to adjust his love redar, in the end, he will know the "one". IMO, he will really do well as a lead, he is a successful 34 years old who is ready for marriage. So, come on yall, Nick for the bachelor!!!! And, yes, I am still a Shawn fan!

Funny, because my bf doesn't really like Nick at all and he was like "Nah, you're not the joke, mate. SHE's the joke."

I saw it as being an emotionally healthy thing for Nick to do -- along with telling Kaitlyn that if she really loved him, she would have had his ring on her finger. I think he was feeling used by her at that point. She knew that she was picking Shawn. Why not have the common decency to tell Nick before he picked out an engagement ring for her? As much as he dreaded the knock on the door from Kaitlyn, I think it would have been far more preferable to him than being put through the wringer. He was expecting better from her than that.

I don't think he's a joke per se, but him coming on and thinking it would end differently with a girl he was sexting with and met on SM. Silly.

I'm gonna cut him some slack....If I had been in Nick's shoes I can tell you I wouldn't have handled it nearly as well. There are so many things he could have done and said but didn't. I think he handled it really well in his conversation with K. By the time he got to the car I think the reality of what she did sank in ....I'd be furious too.
