Ugh ugh ugh. I love a good laugh but some things are funny and others things are just Not. Being drunk and displaying ignorant behavior on SM is not funny. Being 30 (Kaitlyn) and 28ish (Becca) and making these comments is Not only Not funny but in extremely poor taste and sad. These people are supposed to be grownups. Celebrity Rehab anyone?

I honestly think a lot of americans are very politically correct and from what I know, the drinking culture is completely different. Kaitlyn is from Canada, and from the Canadians I know, Canadians and danes (where I am from) are not all that different. From that perspective, I see nothing shocking or wrong with Kaitlyn's behaviour. Regarding her attitude on the show, what I see is a genuine person, who is head over heels for Shawn, but can't quite believe it, and at the same time she is taken back by the realness of how harsh it is to break the hearts of multiple guys, who seem to have really fallen for you, even though you're not just quite feeling it that way.

Sarah, I'm a first generation U.S. kid and my relatives always comment on the puritanical nature of the U.S. Not offensively, just that it's very different. Perhaps that's why nothing shocks or surprises me and I'm enjoying Kait and am fine with everything going on.

I dunno, I think plenty of young Americans and Canadians are out there doing the exact same thing. Maybe we're just used to the girl next door type of Bachelorette?

Me too. This is a silly show and seems this happens every season. I still like kaitlyn and I am looking forward to post show to see what she is up to with Shawn. I am excited to see who is the next bachelor and to watch BIP! It is the worst..... Hook-ups galore but fun to snark and make fun of because at the end of the day, it too is a stupid TV show.

Excited for Shawn and Kait's FS date and to "meet" the families. Still miss the 4 hometowns though.

I constantly read this site but rarely post.  You can count me in the Kaitlyn supporters though!  I think she is hysterical and doesn't take herself too seriously.  I find her charming and funny.  Her periscope chats keep me entertained and if you ask me are very telling in subtle ways.  She ignores the negative Nick comments but she will block you in a NY minute if you go on in a negative way about Shawn.  I also loved her periscope with her best friend last night.  Is her name Bree? Anyone know her friend's twitter name by chance?  I see that Becca tweeted that she is going to attempt a periscope chat live during the show tonight, that could be interesting!! So count me on board the #TeamKaitBoo ship!

Our bachelors are soooo boring, ugly an all borke up before the ATFR !!!! There is no drama or real lovestory (not even for a few month)

So I love me the US bachelores and bachelorettes !!! I love Kaitlyn for bringing all this to my tv, all the drama and tears !!! Too bad I have to wait until after work tomorrow to watch the episode !!!

Her friend's name is Bree! It was so cute how someone commented that Bree is cold and Kait said, "No!!! She super protective." Aww!! I think she's going to be pleased with Shawn, who seems extremely protective and attentive to his family and friends so far.

Trying to mislead us into believing she is leaning towards Nick as her F1 and not Shawn. The article says..."In this exclusive clip from Monday’s installment of the reality dating competition, Kaitlyn talks with host Chris Harrison about Shawn’s jealous ways, and how Nick seems to have something the other guys don’t – her unabashed admiration!"

I can't see Kaitlyn feeling that way about Nick then picking Shawn, her unabashed admiration. Maybe she just admires him for giving it a shot and coming on the show 3-4 weeks into production.
