I don't think Kaitlyn is conflicted at all. I think she decided very early on that Shawn was her guy and she never wavered from that. She told Shawn he was the one in SA, then she flipped the switch and pretended to regret saying that to justify having sex with Nick. Her decision to tell Shawn about having sex with Nick shows that he is the one she intends to be with when this is all over. JMO.

I see zero conflict in Kait also. I mean, even immediately after having sex with Nick, Kait was saying she'll be alone if the others (Shawn) find out about her night. Maybe she feels bad hurting a friend, but conflicted on which one is f1? Not at all imo.

Conflicted is not the word I would use. 
I think she explored her relationship with Nick and found it did not measure up to what she had with Shawn.

I do think the drama here comes down to trusting that Shawn will propose, after all, she doesn't want to be the first lead to be rejected by F1.

If Kaitlyn cared so much about hurting a "friend", she should have never allowed him to join the season, or slept with him, or put him through a proposal. The more I think about this season with Kaitlyn telling Shawn he is the one so early on and only really caring about him walking out on her, I don't think even Nick really stood a chance. I actually feel bad he was put through so much. He wasted his time here.

Agreed, but it was his choice and he stuck around even when she showed him that he was not important to her. I have this stupid conspiracy theory that in my mind he had to stay to the end and propose to completely have the threat of lawsuit from plane video go away. He looks so darn happy this summer compared to last year. He almost seems free to me. JMO.

Nick asked to come back. Nick knew what he was getting himself into IMO. He didn't have to return, sleep with her, or propose.

He knew she was going to date around and pick just one guy, so I'm not sure if it's Kaitlyn's fault that she loved Shawn more than him and wanted a (try) at a future with him more.

Is it over yet? Soooo ready for next season it isn't even funny.

Hmmm, for some reason, I don't think that Kaitlyn will be afraid that Shawn won't propose. He is the guy that got called a creepy azz fan by Justin and practically said he was in love with her right out of the limo. If he was going to leave, he would have left after sex reveal. And I think that if Kaitlyn was that worried about Shawn leaving or not proposing, she would have never brought Nick to overnights and probably sexed all night with him.

Bleu, I do agree he was not forced to do anything (maybe the proposal - haven't seen that yet), but he was a willing participant in everything up to this point. But, I felt bad for past F2s or F3s who never really had a chance either. Many felt bad for Lindzi, Ben, Chantal, and others. I think watching anyone try to give their heart to someone who had decided from day one that someone else was for them is sad.

I'm not saying that it's Kaitlyn's fault she fell in love with Shawn and I don't even like Nick to be sympathizing with him like this. But there are things she just shouldn't have done when she knew Shawn was the one IMO. She initiated pre-fs sex with Nick and she did not eliminate him before he proposed. She is at fault for some things. JMO.

I will probably still end up feeling a little sad for him, I do not like f2s proposing, especially when theyre totally expecting a yes. How humiliating.
