Yup. To me it is just another example of Kaitlyn wanting to only "live in the moment" and not relive her past memories at all (kinda pointless given what this show is).

Denial/avoidance is great for some, but these blogs should be written as if they are happening now, imo. Without that, it's just a waste of time, imo, for Kaitlyn to be constantly reassuring Shawn and the audience that Shawn's intentions are right and so on.

Makes me think of when she starting hiding IG pics she was tagged in that had Nick in them. If you are really moved on from something you don't need to waste time on silly things like that, imo.

It is just repetitive at this point, same thing every episode.. .Shawn upset, K comfort Shawn, Repeat as necessary.

That might be okay for a couple of weeks, or even months, but I hope it isn't a sign that High Maintenance Shawn will need this kind of care and feeding for a lifetime because that would totally suck.

Having to reassure Shawn constantly would be exhausting. Maybe Kaitlyn likes the challenge?

Why would Kaitlyn be so concerned about the reason(s) Shawn doesn't like Nick????

Because she obviously does? At least enough to have him come mid-way through the show and then have some heavy romance perhaps twice. 
I would want to know why someone I cared about had such negative visceral feelings against someone else I cared about.

Not only that, Shawn has some sort of middle school mentality that because he hates Nick then so should Kaitlyn. There is no doubt, at least IMO, that she is trying to appease Shawn with her lack of detail in her blog about Nick.

If Nick has a mild allergy to dogs - and Kaitlyn is getting a dog asap, that doesn't bode well for my fantasy ending. ;)

Shawn's "reasons" for disliking/hating Nick so much come from insecurity. Shawn doesn't even know Nick and made no attempt to get to know him, so he's basing his assessment of Nick on others preconceived opinions. (which is funny, because the guys that took the time to get to know Nick, like him... JJ, Tanner etc) If Shawn was really confident in what he had with Kaitlyn, Nick wouldn't even matter.

I'm loving her blogs, she's like eff it, f2 who?! Haha.

If you're over the other guy, then it sure is a welcome omission. Less Nick, more everyone else. :halo:

I am glad she is over it, but because these blogs are supposed to be written for the viewers it comes across like Kaitlyn is saying, "eff it" to the viewers.
I find it a bit self-serving because without those viewers it is unlikely, imo, that K would have been the Bette.
It just feels like she doesn't care about the audience at all either.

I dunno. I still think there is something else behind it all. TPTB are trying to paint his edit even post show as insecure and jealous which i am not sure if he really is. Still think all of this is being done for a reason and it's related to a storyline which Nick will be involved with somehow.

To me this is fascinating to watch and not really unexpected.

IMO jealousy is not a trait we "learn" - it's an instinct we're born with. To the male it's how an alpha keeps other male competitors away from "his" female and to an alpha female it's what keeps other female competitors away from "her" male. Because this keeps the strongest survival instincts pure in their offspring it's been favored by natural selection for eons.

IMO in humans jealousy ceases to be a factor once both the male and the female trust in each other to stay exclusive, but because this show is all about non-exclusivity from the beginning until the final choice, that "trust" can't begin to be built until the final choice is made. This is nothing more than Kaitlyn following her instincts - little symbolic ways of saying "I'm exclusive and have no interest in anyone else". Eff it F2 indeed.

I don't see this as Kaityln saying eff the viewers - more a way of telling the viewers how she was thinking at the time and how she's thinking now. She's gone through her little slice of H*** to put her story on film and IMO she doesn't owe the viewers more than that - now it's time for her to start controlling her own future and the show seems to be allowing her to do just that.
