Kait can do whatever she wants, tptb don't care and the overwhelming majority of fans are either already spoiled anyway or they don't notice how skewed her media is because they're not as obsessed as us hardcore types.

I think this has zero to do with Shawn or Shawn's jealousy or insecurities and everything to do with her and how much she wants to post and say about him. Shawn doesn't even post anything or defend himself or fav anything generally. It's all Kaitlyn.

Alanna you know I adore Kaitboo and I just tend to over analyze and stress over everything. I don't think it has to do with Shawn either just my general distrust of TPTb coming into play. They don't seem to support this couple or their edit would be better and more fans would be shipping them. They need more romance and less angst.

I thought it was ballsy of Nick to retweet that pop sugar article about 10 reasons Why Shawn hates Nick. Seems the jabs continue post show.

Well, that's how Nick operates so that's no surprise. He loves to make other guys angry and then acts extremely confused when they dislike him. It's just a part of his charm apparently.

Last year, the couple gave him way too much satisfaction, including their little lion and lamb concentrated effort. It was super funny at the time but overall damaging to them in the long run. So far Shawn and Kait don't appear to want to play at his games and I hope it continues.

I dont think we should judge him yet... It`s a show, and sometimes I wonder if this group was so calm that they had to create drama...

Same way he wrote "someone finally builds up the courage to say my name.", tweeting about the sex like he was in support of K and all. He is like a little girl and I really hope Kaithlyn and Shawn do not give him the time of the day going forward even on the AFTR.

Uh huh....passive aggressive. I'm not here to hate on Nick...because I don't hate him. But that's a classic passive aggressive comment. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Nick shows up to the ATFR and says things like "I don't understand why he hates me so much, he never even got to know me." OK, well I'm pretty sure he's not going to love you after you make snide comments and retweets like that...not to mention the fact that he called Shawn out on a date and clearly stated that he didn't care for him on that date. Clearly there's no love loss between the two, so why can't they both just go there separate ways and move on. And I'd say the same for Shawn...stop fighting, focus on the girl, and grow up. It would be exhausting for me too. However, I'm not her. We have friends that are exactly this way. He's jealous and she's constantly reassuring him. Wouldn't work for me, but it works for them. And they've been married for 20+ years and together for 25 and they're better now than they've ever been. There was a period about 5-7 years ago when things weren't so good with them and her and I had a big conversation about it. I couldn't understand how she did it...and she basically told me that she fell in love with him and that was just one of his quirks that she had to deal with. If you love someone, you love all of them. You take the good with the bad. As long as he's not physically, mentally, or emotionally abusive...then I guess we don't get to judge.

More power to Kaitlyn...because I wouldn't last a week in that relationship...let alone several months.

We only see a edited version of shawn we do not know if he is jealous and possessive in real life maybe now that he has Kaitlyn he is not being jealous or possessive and it is just Kaitlyn who does not want to talk about nick or any of the other guys jmo

Personally, I think Kait is just as needy, if not moreso than Shawn. Even on periscope, she's obsessed with totally random people pressing the screen to send her hearts. I'm not joking. She asks for this and gets super excited when we comply. And if you're out there, Kait, I do it all the time

Anyway, I think she and Shawn both need a lot of support, reassurance and comfort from their partner. So for Kait to reassure Shawn isn't a struggle because I think he does it back to her just as much and just as frequently. There is a reason she wrote that Insta comment about how much love and support she's getting and how comforting it feels imo. So while some may think Shawn is too needy, it seems to me, he's just right for her and she doesn't see it as needy at all.

History seems to show that the edit is actually telling us the real story from tptb point of view .....and time seems to confirm it. It may be slightly exaggerated but, nevertheless, accurate from what I've perceived over the years.

Shawn hated Nick right from the start, as soon as Nick arrived. It's okay to not trust someone, but the dislike that Shawn has is over the top for someone he doesn't even know. Shawn could have gone the route of Jared and be mature about it, but he chose not to. Jared was confident in what he had with Kaitlyn and trusted her, therefore it didn't matter to him if Nick joined the show or not.

Jared, Cupcake, Ben H....they would've thought Nick was a bigger problem (maybe not quite to the extent of Shawn) had they been more emotionally invested in Kaitlyn. To be fair, that could be because Kaitlyn didn't make them feel comfortable in getting more emotionally invested subconciously because she was already so far gone with Shawn.
Most of their emotional turmoil came/comes after Kaitlyn cuts them lose. Maybe if they would've demonstrated more emotion with K on dates, they would've had more of a chance. She seems to like when a man goes goo-goo over her and isn't afraid to just put it all out there a'la Shawn.

Shawn has the bigger problem with Nick mostly due to it's impact on his relationship with Kaitlyn...and I will say Shawn's personality. He just seems more assertive than the other men, IMO. I think it turns Kaitlyn on, personally. She just about acknowledged how flattered she was with the whole Nick vs. Shawn thang because she knows it has very much to do with HER.
