It's why, imo, it's best to have both eyes wide open and not depend on feelings alone since they can make red flags appear the opposite.

I think the ratings are up compared to Andi's season- but not compared to all the other seasons. There might have been a more popular show on another channel during Andi's season or maybe people weren't interested. You can see the ratings by week on Wikipedia for most seasons. Emily's ratings were really good. Anyway, Mike Fleiss tweeted that there would be less to be continued episodes next season. He said "we listen to Bachelor Nation" so if people don't like something about the new format and make noise it does seem to work (somewhat?)

It seems like they had to cut out a full week from filming this year due to all the craziness and truthfully, to me being fair. It would have stunk to have Kaitlyn meet anyone but Nick and Shawn's families. The first time in a long time that I think TPTB were actually showing some consideration to the people who are out of contention. So that to me is why all the TBC stuff, they had to spread this mess out.

They also have one less rose ceremony right? so they needed to stagger the episodes weird to get a rose ceremony in each.

Stuck I wish you were right, but experience had shown consideration is not likely with regard to TPTB.
More likely it was something like Ben or K was not invested enough to go forward....
If K didn't sleep with Ben there's no way she was going forward with him... Probably he knew it and she knew it.
