I agree with this. She is insecure. I don't know a great deal about her past relationships, but I do feel a huge reason she picked Shawn was because she felt the most secure with him. Her grestest chances of survival in a relationship with a final pick between F2 was S. She went with her gut and she got it right, IMO. As much as N liked K, he's not cut out of the same cloth as K. IMO, she's just too much over the top for him in the grand scheme of things.

But if Nick is so educated and well-versed and intellectual and people can see Kaitlyn's insecurity...why didn't Nick see it on the show? And I don't buy "the bubble". He's been there before and knows how this show works. Further, he got to know her outside of the show first and liked her well enough to come on the show. So, he must not think she's too bad?

I always think it's interesting when people say Nick is too deep and intellectual for Kaitlyn, I'm sure most of their contact before he came on must've been super serious . He's no Ames. There's a reason he was so drawn to her, I think he has a good grasp on who she is, she just fell for Shawn. I think he would've been her f1 had Shawn left early/not been cast.

Unless tweeting/IGing other people's smrt lines makes one deep/intellectual, then we've got some geniuses on our hands people.

I should think of anyone Nick should have been in a position to best understand Kaitlyn's insecurity - if indeed that's what it is. He was her confidant when she was struggling with the "two bachelorettes" format - or at least that's what IMO they both said - and that happened outside of the bubble.

Following both Nick and Shawn on Snapchat is an interesting study in contrasts. Seeing how different these two guys are from each other. For those who don't know and wanna follow them Nick is Nick_viall28 and Shawn is Shawn_Booth.

Many of these contestants are smarter than the tptb portray them in edit. They definitely dumb down the material for the general viewing audience. With the exception of Andrew Firestone. That guy was intelligent, IMO, and there wasn't much they could do to tone his intellect down.

History seems to show that the edit is actually telling us the real story from tptb point  of view .....and time seems to confirm it.  It may be slightly exaggerated but, nevertheless, accurate from what I've perceived over the years.

I do find it very funny that each side blamed the edit for their guys bad behavior. Guess what? The edit is based of how these idiots acted. Shawn is possessive and needy. Seems like Kaitlyn, so that makes them a good match. Nick was all in for Kaitlyn, Sharleen has confirmed this, he really, really liked her. I tend to think they were mostly sexual, hence first "date" sex. I had sex with my husband on our first date too. We had spent months getting to know each other by IM and email and honestly it felt right. But, I think if Kaitlyn genuinely felt Shawn was F1, she should not have initiated it. And she did initiate, she asked him to her hotel room and her bedroom. Not the other way around.

Now I was disgusted when Nick brought up the Eskimo brothers thing. Nick, you focused on Kaitlyn up to that point, but you lost me with the need to throw Shawn under the bus. Yeah, Shawn is the kind of douchebag to tell the other guys something like that. But let Kaitlyn figure that out for herself. No one likes a tattle tale. I think Nick is sensing that she really wants Shawn and that was an act of desperation. But it didn't gain him any points with Kaitlyn or me. I haven't felt Nick was sneaky up to this point, he has tried his best to answer the other guys questions as best he could without giving too much that was Kaitlyn's to give away. And sorry, but since I have watched this crapfest from the beginning, I watched a group of mostly 30 something woman handle Mary coming onto this show without nearly 1% of the whiney crap I have heard from this group. So nope, I give these guys no pass on their overreaction to Kaitlyn deciding to let Nick come on the show. And Shawn, you don't know Nick because you never bothered to get to know him. You judged him on an edit. If I judge you the same Shawn, you are a hot tempered, possessive jerk with a tendency to drink too much and bully others. I am moving to TN soon, if I ever meet Shawn should I tell him I know him and think he news some counseling? Since I know him as well as he bothered to get to know Nick?

Shawn hated Nick right from the start, as soon as Nick arrived.  It's okay to not trust someone, but the dislike that Shawn has is over the top for someone he doesn't even know.  Shawn could have gone the route of Jared and be mature about it, but he chose not to.  Jared was confident in what he had with Kaitlyn and trusted her, therefore it didn't matter to him if Nick joined the show or not.  

I adore Jared and honestly wish he was the next bachelor. He is sweet and I hope he finds the right woman for him. Notice that Shawn was jealous of him too? Shawn could learn a little about focusing on the woman you say you love and trusting her to love you back.

what are you seeing can you do short synopsis please?

No clue what Nick has been doing in his Snaps but today Shawn snapchatted him working out in the gym & getting his boat ready for a weekend trip.

I think that Shawn's dislike of Nick has less to do with Nick then it does with the fact that Kaitlyn kept Nick even though Shawn voiced his objections. IMO Shawn is Alpha and he needed his opinion to have sway in her decision. IMO, the whole reason Kaitlyn went to Ben & Shawn's room in SA for the unsanctioned visit was because she understood that Shawn was pissed about her decision to keep Nick.

Shawn has to take out his anger on someone, and since it can't be Kaitlyn, it has to be Nick.

At least Ben is willing to tweet that he sees through this joke of a show.
I hope he doesn't accept the lead position.
He can pick out his own wife just fine without the "help" of TPTB.
