I guess I'm confused why it can't be as simple as Kait having no interest praising or talking about an ex that's now a distant memory? I don't know that I would write paragraphs and paragraphs about any of the delightful young men in my own past either

As for Shawn lying to Kait on how horrible Nick is, I don't think that's what's going on since his bestie was just hanging out with Nick. Considering Ronnie and Shawn are together like every weekend, I would think if Shawn had so much residual hatred, it would spread to his friend group too, not just to K.

Well I consider Ronnie a smart guy, the male Sharleen in a way. Clearly he's not interested in the high school drama. And Shawn would come off as a lunatic if he spent all his time with friends ranting about Nick. It's different with Kaitlyn since she's the one who was involved with Nick and is shown on TV all over him every week. JMO.

None of us actually know any of these people or what they're truly like. For all we know, something major did happen between K & N post filming that majorly affected how she views him and therefore the way she talks about him in her blogs and Snapchat recaps. I know that many people here are Nick fans, which is completely understandable, but at times I feel like he's put on a pedestal and made out to be like he can do no wrong. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that Nick and Kaitlyn did have some sort of fight/confrontation after filming because she abruptly unfollowed him and did a 180 on how she spoke about him in interviews not long after RS changed the spoiler (maybe he didn't know she had accepted Shawn's proposal and believed the initial spoiler that she was single?). It really could have nothing to do with Shawn at all, IMO.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's as simple as Kaitlyn not wanting to talk about an ex. I don't think that would suddenly make Jillian think that Nick's a manipulative weasel after hanging out with her last week. And, I'm sure that most ex-leads didn't want to talk about all their exes on the show that they had clearly moved on from, but they did because their job was to recount the experience as they were feeling them ITM and to keep up the suspense for the finale.

I also do think it's interesting that TPTB are letting her get away with it, which makes me think they don't care the Shawn spoiler is out b/c they know that there will be other major stuff happening. Jmo!

But seriously, I don't agree with attributing Kait's attitude towards Nick to Shawn. We will see at atfr though.

Oh, yeah, I don't necessarily think it has to do with Shawn. It's totally possible that Nick/Kaitlyn had some kind of fight independent from Shawn. I just think that something happened post-filming for Kaitlyn to be so cold.

I certainly don't put Nick on a pedestal as I think he's definitely made is fair share of mistakes, but I tend to think (hope) that he's learned from them. That's why I'm not gonna assume whatever's going on is automatically his fault. Not after how poorly Shawn's been presenting himself.

I'm still not even convinced there's animosity between him and Kaitlyn, mind you. Yes, it is weird how Jillian changed her tune, but perhaps it's just her opinion based on the eskimo comment and she feels free to express it since Nick's not F1. I'm not gonna assume it's all Kaitlyn's influence.

Possible, but this is the woman who dated Ed (who she finally admitted cheated) and defended Juan Pablo throughout his season of homophobia and sl*t-shaming. And, now she's so offended by a little bit of tattling? Seems hard to believe, but I guess we'll see!

It is kind of funny that both andi and Kaitlyn after both there shows ended they both had nothing nice to say about nick maybe he is showing his true self when he gets rejected and people are mad how unfair andi was to nick at the atfr but maybe something happened behind the scenes we do not know about jmo

Only problem with that theory is that Sharleen is friends with Nick, despite being close friends with Andi as well. If Nick did something horrible to Andi behind the scenes then Sharleen would know and I can't imagine her fostering a friendship with him in that scenario.

I don't think (more like, hope) Sharleen knows Nick on the intimate fiance level stuffs like the two women he's dated. Personally, I trust their judgement of him way more than anything else, especially since it seems to align with my own opinions of him as well. Jmo.

Everyone is at GMA but I think Kait is still back in Canada with her fam jam. Weird!! Wouldn't they tout their current lead out to promote her finale and mta?

Yup, I agree. Andi has certainly bad-mouthed him to Sharleen, her bff, since Ali said that Andi called her immediately after her interview with Nick and trashed him. So, I'm sure that Sharleen knows all the details of what went down. I think that both Andi and Nick are flawed people and made mistakes then and Sharleen just accepts that.

Nick also does seem to be friendly with his other ex's and we don't even know what happened this time. Maybe I'm totally mistaken and K/N are perfectly fine with each other. I don't want to jump to conclusions just yet about either Nick or Shawn being horrible people.
