It's jmo but I cannot imagine Nick proposing if Kait says no to sex in the fs, that's a dead giveaway that he's f2. He would figure it out and not propose if that was the case, so I think that's why Shawn's date absolutely had to be last. So all the Nick sex was out of the way.

Of course Shawn will be the last FS date. They might not show it that way, but 100% he was last. That way kaitlyn can tell him from here on out it's you babe!

Maybe Nick tells her Shawn is the one who has revealed intimate details about his alone time with Kaitlyn to other guys. Shawn has let it be known to other guys Kaitlyn told him he was the one, making Shawn the one guilty of not keeping the relationship between he and Kaitlyn. Nick has just been accused of the same thing by Kaitlyn so he knows this is an issue for her.

I think this season we're done with the drama at about 10:59 on the night of the ATFR ... unless they end that with a TBC also.    Seriously, I've said it before but I feel so desperate for a nice cute HTD with a wacky dad and a picnic in the park or a FD on a private island.  Sigh.  I think we have to accept this is going to be nothing but drama, tears and misery right through to the end with hopefully a silver lining of a happy Kait and Shawn (and Nick) post show.

How about re-running Brad's HTD with Sheena and her mom. :Nod:

No way is Shawn a cheater. In that convo with his new best friend the producer, he very strongly implied he's a kid of divorce where the catalyst was cheating. She also said in her blog that JJ admitting to cheating made her sick. Whatever the explosive secret is, it's not that imo, I also strongly doubt it's explosive. Probably just more Shawn and Kaitlyn crying in each other's arms.

I think the "my biggest fear is being cheated on" is related to his parent ugly divorce which left him with concerns over trust - I'm guessing one parent cheated on the other.

It was actually Kaitlyn that said the whole thing about being cheated on, but I do think that Shawn's mother cheated on his father (hence no pics of her on his IG), so maybe that will come up.

I do think Nick has to tell her something slightly explosive, since it causes that fight between him and Shawn. I personally think it's going to be either that he cheated on an ex-girlfriend or that he had a non-serious gilfriend  back home. It could be something as simple as "Shawn told everyone he's going to win" or "he won't talk to me", but I'm pretty sure it will be cliffhanger going into next episode and will set the stage for her to tell Shawn about Nick sex. Who knows, though?

Not ironic, this is what TPTB do. They take the strengths of the cast the season prior to their lead and use them against them the next season they are the lead.

Tanner was funny. He gave me some good chuckles here and there and I am sure everyone knew that Shawn was the big dawg - he made sure of it. I recall even JJ saying to Shawn at RC in NYC, "Shawn don't worry you're still the best looking here". 

Shawn also said he knows that none of the other guys feel the way he does. He seems to like to one up others on the show but I am sure that's just due to the show and in real life he is the most amazing thing since sliced bread. 

The pack mentality certainly seems to have been big this season, alpha Shawn and everyone else trying to get the leftovers or "spinning their wheels" as Ben H said. No way Ben didn't know he had no chance with Kailtyn - he basically admitted he knew that he didn't have a chance. And he never challenged/questioned Shawn. 

The only one that seems to challenge Shawn is Nick - but that is because Nick is not an alpha or a beta - he's just a lone wolf, imo who does his own thing. Seems like these two come head to head and an alpha will win over a lone wolf any day.

"an alpha will win over a lone wolf any day" Something about that line strikes me as seriously funny.

THAT's very interesting, since, for all intents and purposes, K 'cheated' on Shawn with Nick... so wierd we choose partners that need to teach us about life.

Maybe Ben didn't question Shawn because he wasn't really into the girl. Watching the show, I think only 2 out of the men left were interested in something long term with Kaitlyn and that is Shawn and Jared and that to me has been the most surprising thing so far. People only fight for what they want. I don't even see the competitive spirit in any of these men. It is quite fascinating, reminds me of Ashley's season.
